गुमला: श्रीनगर गांव में जंगली हाथी का आतंक, घर तोड़ा, धान किया बर्बाद

गुमला – गुमला जिला अंतर्गत स्थित परमवीरअल्बर्ट एक्का जारी थाना क्षेत्र के सीसीकरमटोली पंचायत अंतर्गत श्रीनगर गांव में मंगलवार रात्रि में अपने झुंड से भटके हुए जंगली हाथी ने जमकर उत्पाद मचाया। उक्त जंगली हाथी गांव में लगभग 10:00 बजे रात्रि में घुसा और श्रीनगर गांव के रंजीता टोप्पो के घर को तोड़ना शुरू किया।साथ ही घर में रखें 5 क्विंटल धान को भी बर्बाद कर दिया।रंजीता टोप्पो ने बताया कि मंगलवार रात्रि में हम सभी परिवार खाना खाकर सो रहे थे।तभी अचानक 10:00 बजे रात्रि में घर तोड़ने की आवाज आने लगीं।वही मेरे चार बच्चे जिस रूम में सो रहे थे उसी रूम को जंगली हाथी ने तोड़ना शुरू किया , मैं जल्दी से उठकर भागते हुए अपने बच्चों के पास पहुंची और जैसे ही मैं सभी बच्चों को उठाकर बाहर निकली , उसी वक्त घर का दिवाला गिरा , मैं थोड़ा-सा देर करती तो बच्चों की जान जा सकती थी , फिर मैं अपने बच्चों सहित अपने परिवार वालों को लेकर किसी तरह जान बचाने में सफल हुए , और उक्त घर से बाहर निकल गयी और गांव वालों को आवाज देने लगी , तब गांव वालों ने मेरी आवाज सुनकर मेरे घर की ओर आयें और उक्त जंगली हाथी को खदेड़ने लगे परंतु उक्त जंगली हाथी इतना निडर थे कि वह मसाल जलाने के बावजूद भी वह अपनी जगह से नहीं हट रहे थे , लगतार कई घंटे तक ग्रामीणों द्वारा खड़े होने के बाद उक्त जंगली हाथी चटकपुर गांव की ओर चला गया।चटकपुर गांव के ग्रामीण भी जंगली हाथी को खदेड़ते हुए श्रीनगर जंगल की ओर भेज दिये , पीड़िता रंजीता टोप्पो ने प्रखंड प्रशासन व वन विभाग से अपील की है कि जल्द से जल्द मुआवजा दे ताकि समय रहते घर बना सके।
