गुमला में भीषण आग से 16 एकड़ आम बागवानी जलकर राख

गुमला, 13 मार्च 2025 – झारखंड के गुमला जिले के घाघरा प्रखंड में भीषण आग लगने से मनरेगा योजना के तहत विकसित 16 एकड़ से अधिक क्षेत्र में फैली आम बागवानी जलकर राख हो गई। इस हादसे में करीब तीन एकड़ में मिश्रित खेती के रूप में लगाई गई राहड़ की फसल भी पूरी तरह नष्ट हो गई। वहीं, डेढ़ एकड़ में विशेष रूप से उगाई गई राहड़ की खेती को भी भारी नुकसान पहुंचा है। बताया जा रहा है कि आग एक किलोमीटर से अधिक क्षेत्र में फैल गई, जिससे व्यापक पैमाने पर फसलें बर्बाद हो गईं।

सरकारी योजना को भारी नुकसान

मनरेगा योजना के तहत आम बागवानी में ट्रेंच खुदाई, मजदूरी, बाड़ाबंदी और देखभाल जैसी गतिविधियों पर सरकार द्वारा पांच वर्षों में करीब 3.5 लाख रुपये प्रति किसान खर्च किए जाते हैं। इस आग में एक, दो और तीन वर्ष के पौधे जलकर नष्ट हो गए। यदि राहड़ की फसल सहित पूरे नुकसान का आकलन किया जाए, तो लगभग 30 से 35 लाख रुपये का सरकारी खर्च प्रभावित हुआ है।

दमकल की गाड़ियां पहुंचीं, मगर तब तक नुकसान हो चुका था

घटना की सूचना मिलते ही गुमला के उपायुक्त कर्ण सत्यार्थी को सूचित किया गया, जिसके बाद दमकल की गाड़ी घटनास्थल पर पहुंची। हालांकि, तब तक स्थानीय किसानों ने पानी और राहड़ के पौधों की झाड़ियों से आग पर काफी हद तक नियंत्रण पा लिया था। मौके पर घाघरा के बीडीओ दिनेश कुमार और थाना प्रभारी एसआई राहुल पासवान भी पहुंचे।

किसानों ने किया मुआवजे की मांग

बीडीओ ने प्रभावित किसानों से जले हुए पौधों के फोटो, आधार कार्ड, बैंक पासबुक और जमीन से संबंधित दस्तावेज अंचल कार्यालय में जमा करने के निर्देश दिए ताकि मुआवजा प्रक्रिया जल्द शुरू की जा सके। किसानों ने प्रशासन से आग्रह किया कि उनकी जली हुई बागवानी योजना को बंद कर पुनः नई योजना के तहत लाभ दिया जाए, जिससे वे फिर से आम की बागवानी कर सकें।

आग लगने की वजह पर सवाल

स्थानीय लोगों को आशंका है कि यह आग महुआ चुनने वालों द्वारा लगाई गई होगी, जो धीरे-धीरे पूरे क्षेत्र में फैल गई। इस आगजनी में कई किसानों की आजीविका प्रभावित हुई है, जिससे वे अब सरकारी सहायता की उम्मीद कर रहे हैं।

प्रभावित किसान

इस आगजनी से जिन किसानों की आम बागवानी बर्बाद हुई, उनमें जंबू उरांव, रामलाल यादव, दीपक साहू, शंकर साहू, ललिता देवी, अरुण साहू, सुक्खम मुंडा, दुखन मुंडा, जयपति देवी, हरिश्चंद्र मुंडा, सुरेंद्र उरांव, बीरेंद्र उरांव, बासु उरांव और सरहुलिया उराईन के एक-एक एकड़ भूमि शामिल हैं। वहीं, धुमा उरांव, राधा साहू और अन्य किसानों के खेतों में लगी राहड़ की फसल भी पूरी तरह से बर्बाद हो गई है।

प्रशासन से प्रभावित किसानों को बड़ी उम्मीदें हैं कि उन्हें उचित मुआवजा मिलेगा और भविष्य में ऐसी घटनाओं से बचाव के लिए उचित कदम उठाए जाएंगे।
