गुमला: गुमला जिले के बिशुनपुर प्रखंड अंतर्गत तुमसे गांव की रहने वाली मनीषा कुमारी को उसके नेत्र उपचार के लिए भारतीय रेड क्रॉस सोसाइटी, गुमला शाखा ने 75,000 रुपये की आर्थिक सहायता प्रदान की है। उपायुक्त कर्ण सत्यार्थी के नेतृत्व में आयोजित एक सादे समारोह में यह राशि मनीषा के पिता मुन्ना लोहरा को सौंपी गई।
मनीषा कुमारी केराटोकोनस नामक एक जटिल नेत्र रोग से पीड़ित है, जिससे उसकी दृष्टि क्षमता प्रभावित हो गई है और वह दूर की चीजें ठीक से नहीं देख पाती। इस बीमारी का इलाज आयुष्मान भारत योजना के तहत सूचीबद्ध अस्पतालों में उपलब्ध नहीं था, और रांची के मातृ प्रेरणा आई हॉस्पिटल में इसका इलाज केवल नगद भुगतान के माध्यम से ही संभव था, जो उसके परिवार के लिए आर्थिक रूप से असंभव था।
जैसे ही यह मामला उपायुक्त गुमला कर्ण सत्यार्थी और रेड क्रॉस सोसाइटी के सदस्यों के संज्ञान में आया, बच्ची की शिक्षा और भविष्य को ध्यान में रखते हुए उसे सहयोग देने का निर्णय लिया गया। उपायुक्त के निर्देश पर रेड क्रॉस सोसाइटी की ओर से मनीषा के इलाज के लिए राशि मुहैया कराई गई।
सहायता प्राप्त करने पर मनीषा की माता सुखमनिया देवी भावुक हो उठीं और उन्होंने रेड क्रॉस सोसाइटी एवं उपायुक्त का हृदय से आभार प्रकट किया।
इस अवसर पर अनुमंडल पदाधिकारी राजीव रंजन, रेड क्रॉस सचिव बलदेव प्रसाद शर्मा, सह सचिव अशोक जायसवाल, सदस्य सरजू साहू, विनय कुमार गुप्ता, लालचंद अग्रवाल और डॉ. मोनिका सहित अन्य गणमान्य अतिथि उपस्थित थे।
यह पहल सामाजिक सरोकार की दिशा में रेड क्रॉस सोसाइटी की प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाती है, जो ज़रूरतमंदों की मदद के लिए हरसंभव प्रयास कर रही है।
