गुमला पुलिस की बड़ी कार्रवाई: ऑटो से 25 पैकेट गांजा बरामद, बिहार निवासी तस्कर गिरफ्तार

गुमला, 9 अप्रैल 2025 — नशामुक्त गुमला के अभियान को आगे बढ़ाते हुए, पुलिस अधीक्षक शंभू कुमार सिंह के नेतृत्व में गुमला पुलिस ने मंगलवार को एक और बड़ी कामयाबी हासिल की। पालकोट थाना क्षेत्र में एक ऑटो (टेंपो) से 25 पैकेट अवैध गांजा बरामद किया गया। इस कार्रवाई में बिहार निवासी एक गांजा तस्कर को गिरफ्तार किया गया है।

पुलिस को गुप्त सूचना मिली थी कि सिसईगढ़ की ओर से एक ऑटो के माध्यम से अवैध गांजा झारखंड क्षेत्र में लाया जा रहा है। सूचना की पुष्टि होते ही पुलिस अधीक्षक शंभू कुमार सिंह ने त्वरित कार्रवाई के निर्देश दिए और पालकोट थाना क्षेत्र में एक विशेष छापामारी टीम का गठन किया गया।

गठित टीम ने पालकोट चौक टोंगरी के पास मुख्य मार्ग पर वाहन चेकिंग अभियान शुरू किया। इसी दौरान दोपहर करीब 1:45 बजे एक संदिग्ध ऑटो को आते देखा गया। पुलिस द्वारा रोकने का संकेत देने पर चालक ने वाहन को जंगल की ओर मोड़ लिया और भागने की कोशिश की। मगर पुलिस ने मुस्तैदी दिखाते हुए जंगल में चारों ओर से घेराबंदी कर ऑटो चालक और तस्कर को पकड़ लिया।

पकड़े गए आरोपी की पहचान किशोर खैरवार, पिता भुट्टा खैरवार, निवासी गोसाईपुर, सिवान (बिहार) के रूप में हुई है। तलाशी के दौरान ऑटो से 25 पैकेट गांजा, एक हरे रंग का मोबाइल फोन, और 200 रुपये नकद बरामद किए गए।

इसके बाद दोनों आरोपियों को पालकोट थाना लाया गया, जहां आवश्यक पूछताछ पूरी कर उन्हें न्यायालय में प्रस्तुत किया गया। न्यायिक हिरासत में भेजे गए आरोपी को अब गुमला जेल में रखा गया है।

गुमला पुलिस अधीक्षक शंभू कुमार सिंह ने कहा कि “जिले को नशे से मुक्त करने के लिए हमारी कार्रवाई लगातार जारी रहेगी। ऐसे किसी भी अवैध गतिविधि को बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जाएगा।”

इस कार्रवाई से साफ है कि गुमला पुलिस तस्करी और नशे के खिलाफ बेहद सतर्क और प्रतिबद्ध है, और भविष्य में भी इस तरह की कार्रवाइयों की उम्मीद की जा रही है।
