वज्रपात बना कहर: गुमला में वृद्ध की मौत, एक गाय भी चपेट में आई

गुमला, 11 अप्रैल 2025 — झारखंड के गुमला जिले में गुरुवार शाम हुई तेज बारिश और वज्रपात ने एक वृद्ध व्यक्ति और एक मवेशी की जान ले ली। पहली घटना गुमला सदर थाना क्षेत्र के आंजन गांव के पास घटी, जहां 65 वर्षीय रतिया उरांव वज्रपात की चपेट में आकर गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए। दूसरी घटना घाघरा प्रखंड के पुटो रोड पर हुई, जहां एक गाय की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई।

रतिया उरांव, जो कि सकरपुर गंभरियां गांव के निवासी थे और भूमि सुधार विभाग से सेवानिवृत्त कर्मचारी थे, गुरुवार शाम लगभग 4 बजे अपने टीवीएस वाहन से गांव की ओर निकले थे। रास्ते में तेज हवा, अंधड़ और मूसलाधार बारिश शुरू हो गई। जान बचाने के लिए वे आंजन नहर के समीप रुके, लेकिन तभी अचानक तेज आवाज के साथ वज्रपात हुआ और वे बुरी तरह झुलस गए।

घटना की सूचना मिलते ही टोटो थाना पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और उन्हें तुरंत गुमला सदर अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जहां डॉक्टरों ने उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया।

वहीं दूसरी ओर, घाघरा पुटो रोड पर वज्रपात की दूसरी घटना सामने आई, जिसमें मुकेश जायसवाल की एक गाय की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। पीड़ित मुकेश ने प्रशासन से उचित मुआवज़े की मांग की है।

प्रशासन से मुआवजे की मांग

वज्रपात से हुई इन घटनाओं ने जिले में चिंता का माहौल पैदा कर दिया है। ग्रामीणों और पीड़ित परिवारों ने सरकार से आर्थिक सहायता की मांग की है। राज्य सरकार द्वारा आपदा राहत के अंतर्गत ऐसे मामलों में मुआवजा राशि दी जाती है, जिसकी प्रक्रिया शुरू होने की उम्मीद है।
