कोडरमा, 6 मई 2025 — कोडरमा जिले के डोमचांच प्रखंड स्थित सीएम हाई स्कूल मैदान में आयोजित इंटर स्कूल फ्रेंडली खो-खो प्रतियोगिता में छात्र-छात्राओं ने शानदार प्रदर्शन किया। इस खेल आयोजन का उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों में खेल भावना, अनुशासन और सामूहिकता को बढ़ावा देना था।
कार्यक्रम का उद्घाटन समाजसेवी प्रदीप सिंह, संगठन अध्यक्ष शैलेन्द्र कुमार सिंह एवं सचिव भीमनाथ गोस्वामी ने वैदिक मंत्रोच्चारण और भूमि पूजन के साथ किया। इस प्रतियोगिता में कई स्कूलों की टीमों ने हिस्सा लिया, जिनमें विवेकानंद आइडियल पब्लिक स्कूल, नवादा चौक, धरगांव की छात्र-छात्राओं की टीम विशेष रूप से शामिल रही और रनर-अप ट्रॉफी अपने नाम की।
प्रतियोगिता में छात्राओं की टीम में राखी कुमारी (कैप्टन), प्रीति कुमारी, रूपा कुमारी, ज्योति कुमारी आदि ने भाग लिया। वहीं छात्रों की टीम का नेतृत्व विपिन कुमार तिवारी ने किया, जिनके साथ शुभम मेहता, अभिमन्यु यादव, वीरेंद्र चौधरी, मंटू कुमार साहू, मनीष यादव, कुलदीप साव, अनूप साव, सन्नी यादव और सौरभ साव ने भी शानदार प्रदर्शन किया।
विवेकानंद स्कूल की टीमों को शील्ड और मेडल देकर सम्मानित किया गया। स्कूल के प्रधानाध्यापक जयप्रकाश मेहता ने कहा, “खेल विद्यार्थियों के शारीरिक और मानसिक विकास के लिए उतना ही ज़रूरी है जितना पढ़ाई। इससे सामाजिक समरसता, अनुशासन और टीम भावना का विकास होता है।”
कोडरमा जिला क्रिकेट एसोसिएशन के टेक्निकल सेल प्रमुख राजू रंजन सिंहा ने विद्यार्थियों को शुभकामनाएं देते हुए कहा कि विवेकानंद स्कूल के खिलाड़ी राज्य स्तरीय प्रतियोगिताओं तक पहुँच रहे हैं, जिसमें अभिभावकों की भागीदारी अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है।
समाजसेवी राजकुमार मेहता, पवन गोस्वामी, सहायक शिक्षक लालजीत मेहता और अन्य अतिथियों ने भी खिलाड़ियों का हौसला बढ़ाते हुए कहा कि खेल के क्षेत्र में उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन से न केवल माता-पिता बल्कि पूरे क्षेत्र का नाम रोशन होता है।
