गुमला: उपायुक्त कर्ण सत्यार्थी के निर्देश के आलोक में खनन टास्क फोर्स समिति के द्वारा जिले में लगातार अवैध खनन व खनिज परिवहन के विरुद्ध औचक निरीक्षण किया जा रहा है। इसी क्रम में आज एक ट्रैक्टर एवं हाइवा वाहन को अवैध रूप से बालू उठाव करते हुए पकड़ा गया।
जिला खनन पदाधिकारी द्वारा प्राप्त जानकारी के आलोक में दिनांक 08 मई 2025 को अहले सुबह , गुमला थाना अंतर्गत सिलाफरी पंचायत के नवाटोली चौक के समीप के एक ट्रैक्टर द्वारा अवैध रूप से बालू भंडारण कर हाइवा वाहन में बालू लोड किया जा रहा था। खनन टास्क फोर्स को देखते ही ड्राइवर एवं हाइवा चालक वाहन को छोड़कर वहां से भाग गए। जांच में पाया गया कि उक्त स्थान पर किसी को बालू भंडारण हेतु अनुज्ञ पत्र निर्गत नहीं है। उक्त ट्रैक्टर द्वारा अवैध रूप से बालू का उत्खनन एवं व्यापार किया जा रहा है। वाहन को जब्त कर लिया है और आवश्यक कानूनी प्रक्रिया प्रारंभ कर दी गई है।
जिले में अवैध खनन के विरुद्ध सख्त कार्रवाई जारी है। झारखंड खनिज नियमावली 2004 एवं झारखंड खनिज (अवैध खनन की रोकथाम) अधिनियम के तहत दोषियों के खिलाफ विधिसम्मत कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
जिला प्रशासन आम जनता से अपील करता है कि यदि उन्हें किसी भी प्रकार के अवैध खनन या खनिज परिवहन की सूचना मिले तो तुरंत संबंधित अधिकारियों को सूचित करें अथवा दिए गए नंबर 9934887613 पर भी सूचना दे सकते हैं। जानकारी देने वाले की निजी जानकारी पूर्ण रूप से गोपनीय रखी जाएगी।
