हॉरर की दुनिया में लौट रहा है ‘फाइनल डेस्टिनेशन’, ब्रेक बैसिंजर बोलीं – “जैसे सपना सच हो गया हो”

मुंबई, मई 2025 — न्यू लाइन सिनेमा की प्रतिष्ठित हॉरर फ्रेंचाइज़ी ‘फाइनल डेस्टिनेशन’ एक बार फिर अपने नए अध्याय ‘फाइनल डेस्टिनेशन: ब्लडलाइन्स’ के साथ दर्शकों को मौत की रहस्यमयी और भयावह दुनिया में ले जाने के लिए तैयार है। फिल्म का निर्देशन एडम स्टीन और ज़ैक लिपोवस्की ने किया है और यह 15 मई 2025 को भारत में अंग्रेज़ी, हिंदी, तमिल और तेलुगु भाषाओं में रिलीज़ होगी।

इस बार की कहानी 1969 में सेट की गई है, जहां ब्रेक बैसिंजर ‘आईरिस’ नामक युवती की भूमिका निभा रही हैं। बैसिंजर, जो खुद भी इस फ्रेंचाइज़ी के साथ बड़ी हुई हैं, इस फिल्म को लेकर बेहद भावुक हैं। उन्होंने कहा, “मेरी ज़िंदगी में ऐसा कोई समय नहीं रहा जब ‘फाइनल डेस्टिनेशन’ का नाम न सुना हो। इस सीरीज़ का हिस्सा बनना मेरे लिए एक सपना सच होने जैसा है।”

बैसिंजर का इस प्रोजेक्ट से जुड़ाव केवल एक प्रशंसक के रूप में नहीं है। वह पहले भी निर्देशक एडम स्टीन के साथ एक पायलट शो में काम कर चुकी हैं। दिलचस्प बात यह है कि इस फ्रेंचाइज़ी की पहली दो फिल्मों में नज़र आ चुकीं ऐली लार्टर ने हालिया फिल्म ‘द मैन इन द व्हाइट वैन’ में बैसिंजर की मां का किरदार निभाया था।

बैसिंजर ने शूटिंग के दौरान ऐली से उनके अनुभव जानने की कोशिश भी की। उन्होंने कहा, “जब मुझे इस फिल्म के लिए कास्ट किया गया और मैंने ऐली को मैसेज कर यह बताया, तो वो पल मेरे लिए सबसे खास था। यह एक ऐसा रिश्ता है जो अब पीढ़ियों तक जुड़ गया है।”

‘फाइनल डेस्टिनेशन: ब्लडलाइन्स’ में बैसिंजर के साथ कैटलीन सांता हुआना, टियो ब्रियोनेस, रिचर्ड हार्मन, ओवेन पैट्रिक जॉयनर, एना लोर, राया किल्स्टेड और टोनी टॉड जैसे कलाकार अहम भूमिकाओं में दिखाई देंगे।

इस फिल्म का निर्माण प्रैक्टिकल पिक्चर्स, फ्रेशमैन ईयर और फायरसाइड फिल्म्स के सहयोग से हुआ है और इसे दुनियाभर में वार्नर ब्रदर्स पिक्चर्स के बैनर तले वितरित किया जा रहा है।
