गुमला, मई 2025 — झारखंड के गुमला जिले में एक हृदयविदारक घटना सामने आई है, जहां मामूली घरेलू विवाद के चलते एक युवक ने अपने ही वृद्ध पिता की गला दबाकर हत्या कर दी और बीच-बचाव करने आई मां को भी बेरहमी से पीटकर गंभीर रूप से घायल कर दिया। यह वारदात गुमला सदर थाना क्षेत्र के कुम्हारिया हड़ूवा टोली गांव में सोमवार को हुई।
पुलिस के अनुसार, 74 वर्षीय फेकला महली की उनके बेटे अजय महली ने घर के भीतर ही गला घोंटकर हत्या कर दी। घटना के वक्त अजय की 70 वर्षीय मां ने बीच-बचाव करने की कोशिश की, लेकिन बेटे ने उन पर भी हमला कर दिया, जिससे वह गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गईं। ग्रामीणों ने तत्काल इस घटना की जानकारी गुमला सदर थाना को दी।
सूचना मिलते ही एसआई सुजीत कुमार अपनी टीम के साथ घटनास्थल पर पहुंचे और मामले की छानबीन शुरू की। पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए गुमला सदर अस्पताल भेजा, जहां प्रक्रिया पूरी करने के बाद शव परिजनों को सौंप दिया गया।
गिरफ्तारी की पुष्टि करते हुए पुलिस ने बताया कि आरोपी अजय महली को मौके से हिरासत में लिया गया और थाने लाकर पूछताछ के बाद न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया गया। फिलहाल उसे गुमला जेल में रखा गया है।
इस घटना ने पूरे गांव को झकझोर दिया है। स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि अजय पहले से ही मानसिक रूप से अस्थिर दिखता था, हालांकि पुलिस इस पहलू की भी जांच कर रही है।
