गुमला में ब्राउन शुगर तस्करी का भंडाफोड़: मास्टरमाइंड समेत तीन गिरफ्तार, हथियार और कारें जब्त

गुमला — गुमला पुलिस ने नशा कारोबार के खिलाफ बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए ब्राउन शुगर तस्करी के एक बड़े नेटवर्क का भंडाफोड़ किया है। पुलिस कप्तान शंभू कुमार सिंह के नेतृत्व में चलाए गए विशेष अभियान के तहत तीन तस्करों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है, जिनमें इस अवैध कारोबार का मास्टरमाइंड भी शामिल है।

गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर की गई इस छापेमारी में पुलिस ने 350 ग्राम ब्राउन शुगर, एक देसी कट्टा (पिस्तौल), चार जिंदा कारतूस, दो कारें और पांच मोबाइल फोन जब्त किए हैं। गिरफ्तार किए गए आरोपियों में गढ़वा निवासी पिंटू कुमार, और गुमला निवासी विकास कुमार सिंह व ऋषभ साहू शामिल हैं।

अभियान की रणनीति और गिरफ्तारी
गुमला सीडीपीओ सुरेश प्रसाद यादव ने जानकारी दी कि पुलिस कप्तान को सूचना मिली थी कि गढ़वा से गुमला ब्राउन शुगर की बड़ी खेप लाई जा रही है। इस पर तत्काल कार्रवाई करते हुए सदर थाना प्रभारी सुरेंद्र कुमार सिंह के नेतृत्व में एक संयुक्त छापामारी दल गठित किया गया, जिसमें घाघरा थाना की टीम भी शामिल थी।

संयुक्त टीम ने खरका बाकी नदी के पास वाहन जांच अभियान चलाया। इसी दौरान दो संदिग्ध गाड़ियों को रोककर तलाशी ली गई, जिससे भारी मात्रा में ब्राउन शुगर और हथियार बरामद हुए। तीनों आरोपियों को मौके पर गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया।

नशे के जाल में युवा पीढ़ी
सीडीपीओ यादव के मुताबिक, यह गिरोह हर महीने करीब दो किलोग्राम ब्राउन शुगर की आपूर्ति गुमला जिले में करता था। इसका सीधा असर जिले के युवाओं पर पड़ रहा था, जो तेजी से नशे की चपेट में आ रहे थे। पुलिस मानती है कि इस नेटवर्क का भंडाफोड़ जिले में नशा विरोधी अभियान के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण मोड़ साबित होगा।

आगे की कार्रवाई जारी
सदर थाना प्रभारी सुरेंद्र कुमार सिंह ने बताया कि पुलिस कप्तान के निर्देशानुसार जिले भर में नशा विरोधी मुहिम तेज की गई है। पकड़े गए आरोपियों से पूछताछ के आधार पर अन्य ठिकानों पर छापेमारी की योजना बनाई जा रही है।
