टनल हादसे में लापता गुमला श्रमिक का शव नहीं मिला, 80 दिन बाद पुतले का किया गया अंतिम संस्कार

गुमला — तेलंगाना के नागरकुरनूल जिले में हुए टनल हादसे में लापता गुमला निवासी श्रमिक संतोष साहू का शव अब तक बरामद नहीं हो सका है। हादसे के 80 दिन बीत जाने के बाद परिजनों ने हिंदू परंपरा के अनुरूप उनका पुतला बनाकर अंतिम संस्कार किया। इस दौरान सात वर्षीय पुत्र रिषभ साहू ने अपने पिता के प्रतीक रूप में तैयार पुतले को मुखाग्नि दी, जिससे पूरा गांव शोक में डूब गया।

टनल दुर्घटना श्रीशैलम लेफ्ट बैंक कैनाल परियोजना के तहत हुई थी, जिसमें झारखंड के चार मजदूरों समेत कुल आठ श्रमिक सुरंग ढहने की घटना में फंस गए थे। संतोष साहू के अलावा, गुमला के अन्य मजदूरों में अनुज साहू (घाघरा), जगता खेस (रायडीह) और संदीप साहू (पालकोट) शामिल थे।

घटना के बाद लगातार चले राहत और बचाव कार्यों के बावजूद संतोष साहू का कोई सुराग नहीं मिल पाया। अंततः परिजनों ने गांव के लोगों की उपस्थिति में प्रतीकात्मक शव के रूप में पुतले का अंतिम संस्कार किया। इस मौके पर संतोष की पत्नी संतोषी देवी, बेटियां रीमा (12), राधिका (10) और बेटा रिषभ (7) बेसुध होकर रो पड़े। पुतले के पास दूध चढ़ाने की रस्म के दौरान रिषभ की सिसकियों ने सभी की आंखें नम कर दीं।

हादसे के बाद झारखंड और तेलंगाना सरकार के संयुक्त प्रयास से मृत घोषित चारों मजदूरों के परिजनों को ₹25 लाख की आर्थिक सहायता प्रदान की गई। यह राशि गुमला उपायुक्त कर्ण सत्यार्थी की मौजूदगी में सौंपी गई।

उपायुक्त ने परिजनों से मुलाकात कर उन्हें सांत्वना दी और आश्वस्त किया कि प्रशासन उनके साथ खड़ा है। हादसे के शुरुआती दिनों में मुख्यमंत्री हेमंत सोरेन के निर्देश पर गुमला प्रशासन की एक टीम परिजनों के साथ लगातार संपर्क में थी। घटनास्थल पर जाने के लिए हर मजदूर परिवार से एक सदस्य को तेलंगाना भेजा गया, जिनके साथ डीएमएफटी फेलो अविनाश पाठक और एसआई निखिल आनंद मौजूद थे।

मुख्यमंत्री हेमंत सोरेन ने घटना पर गहरा शोक व्यक्त किया था और अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए थे कि पीड़ित परिवारों को हरसंभव सहायता उपलब्ध कराई जाए। हालांकि आज भी संतोष साहू का शव न मिलना प्रशासन और परिवार—दोनों के लिए दुखद और पीड़ादायक है।
