गुमला, 25 मई 2025 — गुमला जिले के घाघरा प्रखंड अंतर्गत बेलागड़ा नवाटोली में शुक्रवार सुबह एक युवक मुर्गा पकाने के प्रयास में गंभीर रूप से झुलस गया। लकड़ी के चूल्हे में आग जलाने के लिए पेट्रोल का इस्तेमाल करने पर आग भड़क उठी और युवक बुधेश्वर उरांव करीब 70 प्रतिशत तक जल गया। उसे गंभीर हालत में गुमला सदर अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है, जहां उसका इलाज जारी है।
बारिश में भीगी लकड़ियों ने बढ़ाई मुश्किल
घटना शुक्रवार सुबह लगभग 9 बजे की है। बुधेश्वर उरांव अपने घर के आंगन में लकड़ी के चूल्हे पर मुर्गा पका रहा था। एक दिन पहले गांव में बुढ़ी करम पर्व मनाया गया था, और उसी उत्सव की खुशी में यह पकवान तैयार किया जा रहा था। लेकिन बारिश के कारण लकड़ियाँ गीली थीं, जिससे आग जलाने में परेशानी हो रही थी।
जल्दबाज़ी में बुधेश्वर ने पानी पंप में बचा पेट्रोल निकाला और जलते चूल्हे में डाल दिया। इसी दौरान कुछ पेट्रोल उसकी टी-शर्ट पर भी गिर गया। परिणामस्वरूप अचानक चूल्हे में तेज़ लपटें उठीं और वह बुरी तरह झुलस गया।
पत्नी और परिजनों ने बचाई जान
घटना के बाद बुधेश्वर की पत्नी और अन्य परिजनों ने साहस दिखाते हुए किसी तरह आग बुझाई और उसे तत्काल गुमला सदर अस्पताल पहुंचाया गया। अस्पताल सूत्रों के अनुसार, युवक का 70 प्रतिशत शरीर जल चुका है और फिलहाल डॉक्टरों की निगरानी में उसका इलाज चल रहा है।
चेतावनी और जागरूकता की ज़रूरत
स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि ग्रामीण इलाकों में अक्सर पेट्रोल या केरोसीन का उपयोग लकड़ी जलाने के लिए किया जाता है, जो बेहद खतरनाक साबित हो सकता है। इस घटना ने एक बार फिर सुरक्षित खाना पकाने की आवश्यकता को रेखांकित किया है।
