अमेरिका ने अपने यहां हुई आतंकवादी कार्रवाई के बाद जो भी एक्शन लिया, उसकी सफाई या कैफियत किसी को नहीं दी

भारतीय समाज में अंग्रेजी को लेकर गहरी हीनग्रंथि है. और अंग्रेजी के साथ उसे बोलने वाला गौरांग हुआ तो यह हीनग्रंथि से लेकर उत्पन्न आत्महीनता और बढ़ जाती है. इसी हीनग्रंथि के चलते हमारे देश में अंग्रेजी माघ्यम से पढ़ाई का दावा कर हजारों हजार प्राईवेट स्कूल चल रहे हैं.

इसलिए शशि थरूर को लेकर जो मोहित है भारतीय प्रबुद्ध समाज, इस पर किसी तरह का आश्चर्य नहीं होना चाहिए. वरना शशि थरूर कुल मिला कर अपनी सारी बौद्धिकता और अंग्रेजीदा होने के बावजूद एक महामूर्ख लेकिन खतरनाक राजनेता के चाकर बन कर रह गये हैं. एक ऐसा राजनेता जो लोकतंत्र को देश से मिटाने पर तुला है.

कश्मीर में हुई आतंकवादी घटना के बाद जिस तरह की घटनाएं पूरे देश में हो रही है, जिस तरह से उसका राजनीतिकरण किया जा रहा है, उसे भाजपा अपने चुनावी फायदे के लिए इस्तेमाल करनेवाली है, यह अपने आप में शर्मनाक है.

विडंबना यह कि इस पूरे प्रकरण में विपक्ष आत्मरक्षात्मक मुद्रा में दिखाई दे रहा है. वरना आतंकवाद के खिलाफ जनमत बनानेवाली टीम में वह शामिल ही नहीं होता. यदि वास्तव में भारत शक्तिशाली देश है, फिर यह जरूरत क्यों आन पड़ी कि वह पूरी दुनिया में आपरेशन सिंदूर के लिए सफाई देता फिरे? अपनी आत्मरक्षा का उसे अधिकार है. अमेरिका ने अपने यहां हुई आतंकवादी कार्रवाई के बाद जो भी एक्शन लिया, उसकी सफाई या कैफियत किसी को नहीं दी.

ट्रंप का प्रतिवाद करने से मोदी को परहेज क्यों? 

भारत ने तो ऐसा कुछ किया भी नहीं. आतंकवादी ठिकानों पर हमला किया और फिर युद्ध विराम भी. ट्रंप का दावा है कि यह युद्ध विराम उनकी पहल से हुआ. और यह दावा एक बार नहीं, लगातार वे कर रहे हैं. भारत ने और ट्रंप के सबसे बड़े दोस्त होने का दावा करने वाले मोदी उसका प्रतिवाद तक करने की हिम्मत नहीं जुटा रहे हैं.

चलिए मान लिया कि पाकिस्तान युद्ध विराम के लिए याचना कर रहा था. फिर आपने कम से कम उन आतंकवादियों को तो उनसे मांग लिया होता? ऐसा नहीं कि उनकी शिनाख्त नहीं हुई है. या उनके बारे में पाकिस्तान को पता नहीं. यदि वास्तव में पाकिस्तान को उनका पता नहीं, तो यह भी मानना होगा कि आतंकवादियों पर उनकी पकड़ नहीं.

जाहिर है, यह पूरा मामला रहस्यमय है और इस बात का कोई जवाब नहीं कि भारतीय सेना यदि बढ़त में थी तो फिर बिना आतंकवादियों का आत्मसर्पण कराये युद्ध विराम हुआ क्यों?

अब थरूर से पूछा जा रहा है कि क्या पाकिस्तान ने रफेल विमान मार गिराये? उसका सीधा जवाब तो यही होना चाहिए कि नहीं, हमारे कोई विमान पाकिस्तान ने नहीं गिराये हैं. लेकिन वे लफ्फाजी कर रहे हैं. और लोग उनके अंग्रेजी ज्ञान के कायल हुए जा रहे हैं. उन्हें अपने वाक्पटुता का प्रयोग इसलिए करना पड़ रहा है, कि उनके पास स्पष्ट उत्तर देने का साहस नहीं.

यदि इस पूरे प्रकरण से जुड़े सवालों का जवाब देने की स्थिति में भारत होता तो मोदी खुद जाते भाजपा के प्रबुद्ध राजनेताओं की अपनी टीम के साथ. योगी आदित्यनाथ, असम के मुख्यमंत्री हिमंता के साथ, मुखर और मिथ्या प्रचारक के मास्टर देवघर वाले निशिकांत दुबेजी के साथ. लेकिन यह साहस मोदी में नहीं था. इसलिए सांसदों की एक भारी भरकम टीम को विदेश भ्रमण पर भेजा गया. जिसमें सबसे विवादास्पद नाम है शशि थरूर और औवैसी का है.

विपक्षी राजनीति को कमजोर करने के लिए भाजपा का टूल बनेंगे ओवैसी-थरूर 

शशि थरूर कांग्रेस के सांसद हैं. हालांकि उनका नाम कांग्रेस ने टीम के लिए प्रस्तावित नहीं किया था. नैतिकता का तकाजा तो यही था कि जब मोदी ने उन्हें शामिल होने के लिए कहा तो वे विनम्रतापूर्वक इंकार कर देते. लेकिन उनके लिए तो यह एक गोल्डेन चांस बन गया. पार्टी से गद्दारी भी, और वह देशभक्ति के नाम पर.

ओवैसी तो खैर शातिर राजनेता हैं. वे एक कट्टर मुसलमान नेता की छवि रखते हैं और लगातार मोदी की आलोचना करते रहे हैं. सामान्य दिनों में भी इसका फायदा मोदी को होता है और चुनाव के वक्त तो मुस्लिम मतों को काट कर वे मोदी को फायदा पहुंचाते ही हैं. ऐसा वे आगामी बिहार चुनाव में भी करेंगे. विपक्षी राजनीति को कमजोर करने के लिए भाजपा का टूल बनेंगे.

और शशि थरूर भी अब अपना रास्ता पकड़ चुके हैं. वे भाजपा के काम आयेंगे. वे भारत में लोकतंत्र को खत्म करने वाले, सारे लोकतांत्रिक संस्थानों को मटियामेट करनेवाले मोदी के साथ खड़े होंगे तो कोई आश्चर्य नहीं. उनकी बौद्धिकता की यही सीमा है और अवसरवादिता की पराकाष्ठा- आतंकवादी त्रासदी को अपनी क्षुद्र राजनीति के लिए इस्तेमाल कर लेना.

फिर भी भारत का बौद्धिक और अभिजात तबका उन पर फिदा है. उनकी अमीरी, उनकी बौद्धिकता और अंग्रेजी ज्ञान, उनका कुल व्यक्तित्व, उनके साथ जुड़े प्रेम और रोमांस के किस्से, सब उन्हें विशिष्ट बनाता है. लेकिन वह बौद्धिकता किस काम की जो आपको किसी तानाशाह का चाकर बना दे?
