गुमला : – पर्यावरण संरक्षण एवं नदियों के प्राकृतिक प्रवाह को बनाए रखने के उद्देश्य से गुमला जिले में मानसून सत्र के दौरान बालू उठाव पर पूर्ण प्रतिबंध लगाया गया है। इस संबंध में उपायुक्त-सह-जिला दंडाधिकारी गुमला प्रेरणा दीक्षित द्वारा आवश्यक आदेश एवं सूचना जारी की गई है।
यह आदेश पर्यावरण, वन एवं जलवायु परिवर्तन मंत्रालय द्वारा प्रकाशित Sustainable Sand Mining Management Guideline, 2016 के अनुबंध तालिका – 09 तथा भारतीय मौसम विभाग, नागपुर के पत्रांक RMC/CS/-312/ नागपुर, दिनांक 18.01.2016 के आलोक में जारी किया गया है, जिसके अनुसार झारखंड राज्य में मॉनसून सत्र की अवधि 10 जून से 15 अक्टूबर तक निर्धारित की गई है।
साथ ही माननीय राष्ट्रीय हरित न्यायाधिकरण, कोलकाता द्वारा O.A. No. 120/2016/EZ, Rezwan -Vs- State of Jharkhand & Ors वाद में पारित न्यायादेश दिनांक 17.08.2016 के स्पष्ट निर्देश “During Monsoon Period Mining should not be permitted in Rivers/Streams particularly” के अनुपालन में यह निर्णय लिया गया है।
उक्त के आलोक में गुमला जिले अंतर्गत स्थित नदियों में Category-1 एवं Category-2 के बालू घाटों से बालू का उठाव दिनांक 10.06.2025 से 15.10.2025 तक पूर्णतः प्रतिबंधित रहेगा।
उपायुक्त गुमला ने जिले के सभी संबंधित अंचलाधिकारी, थाना प्रभारी एवं प्रवर्तन एजेंसियों को निर्देशित किया है कि आदेश का कड़ाई से अनुपालन सुनिश्चित करें एवं प्रतिबंधित अवधि में किसी भी प्रकार के अवैध बालू उठाव या परिवहन पर त्वरित कार्रवाई करें।
साथ ही उन्होंने जिलेवासियों एवं बालू घाट संचालकों से अपील की है कि वे इस आदेश का पूर्णतः पालन करें तथा पर्यावरण संरक्षण में प्रशासन का सहयोग करें ।
