हॉकी इंडिया सब-जूनियर नेशनल के लिए चयनित हुईं गुमला की प्रीति बिलुंग, झारखंड टीम से करेंगी प्रतिनिधित्व

गुमला: झारखंड की हॉकी प्रतिभाओं में एक और नाम जुड़ गया है — प्रीति बिलुंग, जो गुमला के आवासीय बालिका हॉकी प्रशिक्षण केंद्र में प्रशिक्षणरत हैं, उनका चयन झारखंड राज्य की टीम में हुआ है। प्रीति अब हॉकी इंडिया सब-जूनियर महिला राष्ट्रीय चैंपियनशिप 2025 में हिस्सा लेंगी, जो 3 से 13 जुलाई के बीच रांची में आयोजित की जाएगी।

2022 से शुरू हुआ सफर, सिमडेगा से लेकर झारखंड टीम तक

प्रीति बिलुंग का मूल निवास सिमडेगा जिला में है। उन्होंने वर्ष 2022 में उसलाइन कॉन्वेंट विद्यालय, गुमला स्थित प्रशिक्षण केंद्र में हॉकी की विधिवत शुरुआत की। अपनी लगन और मेहनत के बल पर उन्होंने राज्य स्तर की ओपन ट्रायल में 100 से अधिक प्रतिभागियों के बीच खुद को साबित किया।

18 खिलाड़ियों में चुनी गईं, प्लेइंग इलेवन में भी जगह

ओपन ट्रायल के बाद 31 खिलाड़ियों को प्रारंभिक प्रशिक्षण शिविर में बुलाया गया था, जिसमें से 10 दिवसीय शिविर के पश्चात 18 खिलाड़ियों की अंतिम टीम घोषित की गई। इस टीम में प्रीति को न केवल शामिल किया गया, बल्कि उन्हें शुरुआती 11 खिलाड़ियों (Playing XI) में भी स्थान मिला — जो उनके निरंतर अभ्यास, अनुशासन और प्रशिक्षण की गुणवत्ता को दर्शाता है।

प्रशिक्षण केंद्र की भूमिका भी सराहनीय

प्रीति की इस उपलब्धि के पीछे गुमला स्थित आवासीय बालिका हॉकी प्रशिक्षण केंद्र की अहम भूमिका रही है, जहाँ उन्हें नियमित रूप से तकनीकी और मानसिक प्रशिक्षण प्रदान किया गया। यह केंद्र जिले में उभरती महिला हॉकी प्रतिभाओं के लिए एक सशक्त मंच बनकर उभरा है।

गुमला के लिए गौरव का क्षण

प्रीति का चयन न केवल सिमडेगा और गुमला के लिए, बल्कि पूरे झारखंड राज्य के लिए गौरव की बात है। यह उपलब्धि दिखाती है कि ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों की बेटियाँ भी यदि सही मार्गदर्शन और प्रशिक्षण पाएँ, तो वे राष्ट्रीय मंच पर अपनी पहचान बना सकती हैं।
