हजारीबाग में स्वतंत्रता सेनानी जगत नारायण लाल के योगदान पर व्याख्यान, प्रो. सिन्हा ने बताया—”वे आध्यात्मिक योद्धा भी थे”

विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय, हजारीबाग के स्नातकोत्तर इतिहास विभाग में शुक्रवार को राधाकृष्णन सभागार में “जगत नारायण लाल: एक आध्यात्मिक स्वतंत्रता सेनानी—हजारीबाग कारावास में गुजारे पांच वर्ष” विषय पर एक संगोष्ठी का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ. हितेंद्र अनुपम ने की, जबकि मुख्य वक्ता के रूप में मगध विश्वविद्यालय, बोधगया के इतिहास विभागाध्यक्ष प्रो. मनीष कुमार सिन्हा ने श्रोताओं को संबोधित किया।

राजनीति और अध्यात्म का समन्वय
प्रो. मनीष कुमार सिन्हा ने जगत नारायण लाल के जीवन को एक दुर्लभ संयोजन बताया—राजनीतिक प्रतिबद्धता और आध्यात्मिक चेतना का। उन्होंने कहा, “जगत नारायण लाल केवल स्वतंत्रता सेनानी नहीं थे, वे अपने कारावास के समय में एक गहन आध्यात्मिक साधक के रूप में भी उभरे।”

गांधीवादी सोच और राष्ट्रीय प्रतिबद्धता
1915 में पटना में वकालत शुरू करने वाले जगत नारायण लाल ने असहयोग आंदोलन से लेकर भारत छोड़ो आंदोलन तक हर चरण में गांधीजी के विचारों के साथ खुद को जोड़े रखा। उन्होंने कांग्रेस के साथ-साथ हिंदू महासभा के भी विकास में योगदान दिया, किंतु जब विचारधारा के टकराव की स्थिति बनी, तो उन्होंने गांधी के राष्ट्रव्यापी कार्यक्रम को चुना।

हजारीबाग जेल के दिन और उनका प्रभाव
प्रो. सिन्हा ने बताया कि 1932 और फिर 1942 से 1945 तक हजारीबाग केंद्रीय कारा में उनके समय ने उनके व्यक्तित्व को गहराई से प्रभावित किया। कारावास के दौरान उन्होंने डॉ. मुंजे को पत्र लिखते हुए स्पष्ट किया था कि यदि उन्हें आरएसएस की विचारधारा और गांधीजी की नीति में से एक को चुनना पड़े, तो वे गांधी के साथ रहेंगे।

संविधान निर्माण में सक्रिय भागीदारी
जगत नारायण लाल ने न केवल स्वतंत्रता संग्राम में हिस्सा लिया, बल्कि भारत के संविधान निर्माण में भी उनकी भूमिका महत्वपूर्ण रही। उन्होंने संसदीय लोकतंत्र के समर्थन में अपने विचार प्रस्तुत किए, जिन्हें संविधान सभा द्वारा स्वीकार किया गया।

पीएच.डी. कोर्स वर्क 2024 के छात्र-छात्राएँ—फरहीन खानम, रितेश तिवारी, नाजिया कौसर, माधुरी कुमारी के अलावा शोधार्थी भैरव यादव, सनी कुमार मेहता, सुमित कुमार, अमरेन्द्र कुमार आज़ाद, गंगेश्वरी सिंह, मीनाक्षी कुमारी, आकाशदीप महतो, जय कुमार सहित स्नातकोत्तर द्वितीय व चतुर्थ सेमेस्टर के छात्र भी उपस्थित रहे।

जगत नारायण लाल के विचारों और उनके जीवन से यह स्पष्ट होता है कि स्वतंत्रता संग्राम केवल राजनीतिक आंदोलन नहीं था, बल्कि उसमें गहरी आध्यात्मिक चेतना भी निहित थी। इस संगोष्ठी ने इतिहास प्रेमियों को न केवल उनके योगदान से अवगत कराया, बल्कि भारतीय स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन के एक कम चर्चित लेकिन अत्यंत प्रासंगिक पक्ष को उजागर किया।
