स्कूल परिसर में तंबाकू बेचने पर कोटपा अधिनियम के तहत सिसई में छापेमारी, दुकानदार पर लगा जुर्माना

गुमला — गुमला उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देश पर सिसई प्रखंड के छारदा स्कूल के आसपास कोटपा अधिनियम (COTPA Act) 2003 के तहत एक विशेष छापेमारी अभियान चलाया गया। स्कूल की 100 मीटर की परिधि में यह कार्रवाई खाद्य सुरक्षा पदाधिकारी लव कुमार गुप्ता के नेतृत्व में की गई, जिसमें तंबाकू उत्पादों की अवैध बिक्री पर रोक लगाने का प्रयास किया गया।

रंगे हाथों तंबाकू बेचता पकड़ा गया दुकानदार

छापेमारी के दौरान केसरी स्टोर में निकोटीन व तंबाकू युक्त उत्पादों की बिक्री करते हुए दुकानदार को रंगे हाथों पकड़ा गया। यह कोटपा अधिनियम का स्पष्ट उल्लंघन था। नियमानुसार, स्कूल परिसर के 100 गज के भीतर तंबाकू या उससे संबंधित उत्पादों की बिक्री पूरी तरह प्रतिबंधित है। इस उल्लंघन पर संबंधित दुकानदार से आर्थिक दंड वसूला गया।

अन्य दुकानों पर भी की गई सघन जांच

अनिल केसरी स्टोर में खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं मानक अधिनियम FSSAI 2006 के दिशानिर्देशों का पालन नहीं किया जा रहा था। दुकान में स्वच्छता की कमी और अन्य खामियों को देखते हुए स्पष्टीकरण नोटिस जारी किया गया, साथ ही भविष्य में नियमों के उल्लंघन पर कड़ी कार्रवाई की चेतावनी दी गई।

सुरक्षा बलों की रही सक्रिय उपस्थिति

इस अभियान में सिसई थाना के एएसआई रामानंद सिंह, पुलिस जवानों के साथ कंप्यूटर ऑपरेटर प्रियांशु कुमार एवं सूरज कुमार ने भी सहयोग प्रदान किया।

स्वास्थ्य और सुरक्षा को लेकर प्रशासन की सख्ती

प्रशासन ने यह स्पष्ट संकेत दिया है कि स्कूलों व सार्वजनिक स्थलों के पास तंबाकू उत्पादों की बिक्री किसी भी सूरत में बर्दाश्त नहीं की जाएगी। कोटपा अधिनियम के अंतर्गत भविष्य में भी इस तरह की अचानक छापेमारी जारी रहेगी, ताकि बच्चों और युवाओं को नशे से बचाया जा सके।
