गुमला – गुमला जिला स्थित चैनपुर सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र परिषद में सोमवार को टीबी (क्षय रोग) उन्मूलन के लिए एक विशेष उन्मुखीकरण प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य चैनपुर प्रखंड को पूरी तरह से टीबी मुक्त बनाने की दिशा में स्वास्थ्यकर्मियों, अधिकारियों एवं सामाजिक प्रतिनिधियों को जागरूक करना और उन्हें सहयोग हेतु प्रेरित करना था।
इस अवसर पर जिला यक्ष्मा केंद्र के पीपीएम कोऑर्डिनेटर हरिशंकर मिश्रा ने टीबी उन्मूलन में समाज के प्रत्येक वर्ग की सक्रिय भूमिका पर बल देते हुए कहा कि, “जिले की उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित सहित प्रशासन एवं स्वास्थ्य विभाग टीबी उन्मूलन को लेकर पूर्णतः प्रतिबद्ध हैं। चैनपुर प्रखंड को इस दिशा में विशेष रूप से प्राथमिकता दी गई है।
उन्होने बताया कि चैनपुर क्षेत्र में घर-घर जाकर ‘सर्व टू डोर’ सर्वेक्षण के माध्यम से संभावित टीबी मरीजों की पहचान की जा रही है। उन्होंने स्वास्थ्यकर्मियों को सर्वेक्षण कार्य सटीक, संवेदनशील एवं जिम्मेदारीपूर्वक करने की सलाह दी, ताकि कोई भी संभावित रोगी जांच से वंचित न रह जाए।
उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि टीबी उन्मूलन की दिशा में सफलता के लिए यह आवश्यक है कि
- सभी संदिग्ध मरीजों की समय पर जांच हो
- रोगियों को पूरा इलाज एवं दवा समय पर मिले
- सतत निगरानी और फॉलोअप किया जाए
कार्यक्रम में टीबी की रोकथाम, लक्षण, इलाज की प्रक्रिया, सरकारी सहायता एवं सामाजिक जागरूकता जैसे बिंदुओं पर भी विस्तार से चर्चा की गई। उन्होंने स्वास्थ्यकर्मियों को यह भी बताया कि जागरूकता और समय पर उपचार ही टीबी उन्मूलन का सबसे बड़ा हथियार है।
कार्यक्रम के अंत में उपस्थित सभी प्रतिभागियों ने चैनपुर प्रखंड को शीघ्र टीबी मुक्त बनाने का संकल्प लिया और टीबी के खिलाफ सामूहिक लड़ाई में प्रशासन, स्वास्थ्य विभाग एवं आम जनता के समन्वित प्रयास की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया।
