कुलपति ने किया आकर्षक ‘फोटोबूथ सेल्फी पॉइंट’ का अनावरण
लघु नाटिका से स्तनपान के मिथको पर किया गया प्रहार
विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय के सीएनडी विभाग द्वारा 1 से 7 अगस्त तक विश्व स्तनपान सप्ताह के अंतर्गत गुरुवार को विशेष स्तनपान जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य छात्राओं और शिक्षकों को स्तनपान के महत्व, मातृत्व स्वास्थ्य और शिशु पोषण के बारे में जानकारी देना था।
कार्यक्रम में विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति प्रो चंद्र भूषण शर्मा बतौर मुख्य अतिथि उपस्थित हुए। अपने उद्बोधन में उन्होंने कहा कि स्तनपान बच्चों के संपूर्ण विकास के लिए अत्यंत आवश्यक है। समाज में इसके प्रति वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोण विकसित करना समय की मांग है। साथ ही उन्होंने छात्राओं के द्वारा बनाया गया ‘फोटोबूथ सेल्फी प्वाइंट’ का अनावरण किया।
विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में कार्यक्रम को सुशोभित कर रहे विश्वविद्यालय के कुलसचिव डॉ. सादीक रज़ाक़ ने स्तनपान के महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला।
सी.एन.डी विभाग के निर्देशक डॉ. मनोज कुमार ने कार्यक्रम की रूपरेखा प्रस्तुत की। उन्होंने बताया कि ‘कोलेस्ट्रम’ अर्थात मां का पहला गाढ़ा दूध, बच्चों के लिए कितना महत्वपूर्ण है।
इस अवसर पर सेमेस्टर 2 की छात्राओं ने एक लघु नाटिका के द्वारा स्तनपान के महत्व के बारे में बताया तथा कुछ मिथको के प्रति भी जागरूकता फैलाई।
कार्यक्रम में राजनीति विज्ञान विभाग के अध्यक्ष डॉ सुकल्याण मोइत्रा, जंतुविज्ञान विभाग के अध्यक्ष डॉ केके गुप्ता, विभाग की शिक्षिकाएं जया सिन्हा, सुषमा कुमारी तथा डॉ. सफ़रोज़ परवीन के अलावे अन्य विभाग के शिक्षक मनीषा बाखला, डॉ मीता सिंह, डॉ कनुप्रिया, डॉ विनीता बाँकिरा, डॉ प्रभात कुमार, डॉ आशुतोष कुमार एवं अच्छी संख्या में छात्र-छात्राएं उपस्थित थे।
