पूरी योजना के लिए विश्वविद्यालय को केंद्र सरकार से मिले हैं 99.6 करोड़ रुपए
झारखंड-बिहार का पहला सरकारी विश्वविद्यालय जिसमें ‘सेंटर आफ एक्सीलेंस’ की होगी स्थापना
विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति प्रो चंद्र भूषण शर्मा ने विश्वविद्यालय की प्रथम महिला श्रीमती सरिता शर्मा के साथ शनिवार, 9 अगस्त को विश्वविद्यालय के नए ‘रिसर्च एवं इनक्यूबेशन सेंटर’ भवन का भूमि पूजन किया।
कुलपति ने बताया कि एक तरफ जहां यह दिन सावन पूर्णिमा और रक्षाबंधन का है वही आज 9 अगस्त ‘अंतरराष्ट्रीय जनजाति दिवस’ भी है। इस प्रकार यह दिन झारखंड राज्य और विशेष कर हजारीबाग में अवस्थित विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय के लिए अत्यंत शुभ है। यही कारण है कि इस महत्वाकांक्षी योजना के प्रारंभ के लिए 9 अगस्त के दिन का चयन किया गया।
भूमि पूजन के समय कल कुलपति के साथ विश्वविद्यालय के कुलसचिव सह समाज विज्ञान के संकायअध्यक्ष डॉ सादिक रज्जाक एवं कुलपति सचिवालय में कार्यरत जयप्रकाश सिंह उपस्थित थे।
इस योजना के संबंध में विस्तृत जानकारी देते हुए यूसेट के प्राध्यापक डॉ अरुण कुमार मिश्रा ने बताया कि यह भवन निर्माण जी-प्लस-4 का होना है। उन्होंने बताया कि भवन एवं फर्नीचर को लेकर कुल लागत 54 करोड़ के लगभग का है। इस एडवांस्ड रिसर्च एंड डेवलपमेंट कम इनक्यूबेशन सेंटर भवन का निर्माण झारखंड राज्य भवन निर्माण निगम लिमिटेड, रांची के द्वारा होना है।
डॉ अरुण कुमार मिश्रा ने बताया कि राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति 2020 के आलोक में उच्च शिक्षण संस्थानों में एक्सेस इक्विटी और क्वालिटी सुनिश्चित करने के उद्देश्य से केंद्र प्रायोजित योजना पीएम उषा के अवयव ‘मल्टीडिसीप्लिनरी एजुकेशन एंड रिसर्च यूनिवर्सिटी (MERU)’ के अंतर्गत विद्यमान राजकीय विश्वविद्यालय को बहुविषेक एवं अनुसंधान के क्षेत्र में स्थापित किया जाना है। इसी क्रम में 2024 को मेरु (MERU) के अंतर्गत विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय हजारीबाग हेतु लगभग 99 करोड़ रुपए की योजना की स्वीकृति प्रदान की गई थी।
डॉ अरुण मिश्रा ने बताया कि मेरु (MERU) के उद्देश्यों की पूर्ति हेतु झारखंड राज्य में शोध कार्यों को बढ़ावा देने के लिए विभावि हजारीबाग में सेंटर आफ एक्सीलेंस ऑन साइबर सिक्योरिटी,सेंटर ऑफ़ एक्सीलेंस इन रिमोट सेंसिंग एंड जी आई एस, सेंटर ऑफ़ एक्सीलेंस ऑन सोशल साइंस और सेंटर ऑफ़ एक्सीलेंस ऑन अप्लाइड साइंस की स्थापना की जानी है।
