राजनीतिक सूझबूझ से बनी लालू के साथ शिबू की दोस्ती दोनों पार्टियों के लिए हमेशा फायदेमंद साबित हुई

रांची : कुछ लोग यह आरोप लगाते हैं कि जो लालू अलग राज्य का विरोधी था और जिन्होंने कहा था कि बिहार का विभाजन या झारखंड मेरी लाश पर बनेगा, उससे गुरुजी की दोस्ती क्यों थी? उसके साथ अभी भी गठबंधन क्यों? इस तरह की बातें खास कर वे लोग कहते हैं जो परोक्ष रूप से भाजपा के समर्थक होते हैं, हालांकि वे खुल कर यह कहते नहीं.

देश में अभी जो सांप्रदायिकता के आधार पर राजनीतिक ध्रुवीकरण हुआ है, उसमें झामुमो इंडिया गठबंधन में ही रह सकता है, क्योंकि गुरुजी भी धर्मनिरपेक्षता के प्रबल समर्थक थे. इस गठबंधन की बदौलत ही झामुमो प्रचंड बहुमत से जीत हासिल कर सत्ता में बनी है. लेकिन आलोचक यह सवाल बार-बार उठाते हैं कि जिस लालू ने या जिनकी पार्टी राजद ने अलग झारखंड के गठन का विरोध किया, उसके साथ झामुमो ने सरकार क्यों बनायी?

लालू ने वृहद झारखंड अलग राज्य का कभी विरोध नहीं किया

दरअसल, लालू ने वृहद झारखंड अलग राज्य का विरोध कभी नहीं किया. वे सिर्फ बिहार के विभाजन का विरोधी थे. उनकी समझ यह थी कि 28 जिलों का वृहद झारखंड कभी नहीं बन सकता. बंगाल और समीपवर्ती अन्य राज्य इस बात के लिए सहमत नहीं होंगे. न ओड़िशा सहमत होगा, न मध्यप्रदेश. इसलिए बिहार की राजनीति में भाजपा को परास्त करने के लिए पिछड़ा, अल्पसंख्यक और आदिवासी का गठजोड़ हुआ और इसका ऐतिहासिक महत्व रहा.

याद कीजिये कि झामुमो बमुश्किल दो या तीन लोकसभा सीटें जीत पाता था. लेकिन राजद और कांग्रेस से गठबंधन के बाद उसके छह सांसद बने. जब तक यह गठबंधन कायम रहा, तब तक भाजपा का दक्षिण बिहार में दबदबा भी कायम नहीं हो सका.

शिबू और लालू की दोस्ती पर सवालिया निशान लगाना गलत

लेकिन जब केंद्र में बैठी भाजपा सरकार 28 जिलों की जगह सिर्फ बिहार को काट कर सिर्फ 18 जिलों के अलग झारखंड राज्य की योजना बनाने लगी, तो इसका विरोध हुआ. भाजपा को लगता था कि बिहार में वह राजद को कभी पराजित नहीं कर सकती, कम से कम झारखंड में जोड़-तोड़ कर सरकार बना सकती है. इसलिए 18 जिलों के अलग झारखंड राज्य की वह समर्थक भी बन गयी.

अलग राज्य के पहले अलग वनांचल प्रदेश के अध्यक्ष बाबूलाल बना दिये गये. और तब लालू ने सिर्फ बिहार के विभाजन का खुल कर विरोध किया और झामुमो-राजद का गठबंधन टूट गया. जिस झामुमो ने झारखंड के 14 सीटों में से छह पर जीत हासिल की थी, वे सब के सब भाजपा की झोली में चले गये.

निर्दलियों के समर्थन और खरीद फरोख्त की बदौलत झारखंड में भी भाजपा 2019 तक शासन करती रही. एक चुनाव में कांग्रेस ने भी झामुमो की जगह बाबूलाल की पार्टी से चुनावी गठबंधन किया था, लेकिन कोई कामयाबी हासिल नहीं कर सकी. फिर कांग्रेस, राजद और झामुमो का गठबंधन बना, 2019 में जीत हासिल हुई.

पिछली बार की लोकसभा में इंडिया गठबंधन को पांच सीटें मिली. 2024 के चुनाव में प्रचंड बहुमत मिला. भाजपा के तमाम मुख्यमंत्री और दिग्गज प्रचारक मैदान में थे, लेकिन एनडीए सत्ता से बहुत दूर रही.

हम कह सकते हैं कि गुरुजी की राजनीतिक सूझबूझ से बनी लालू के साथ उनकी दोस्ती दोनों पार्टियों के लिए फायदेमंद रही. गुरुजी भी बिहार की राजनीति में हमेशा लालू की आड़े वक्त में मदद करते रहे. लालू भी गुरुजी का हमेशा आदर करते थे.

भावी राजनीति के लिए भी इंडिया गठबंधन का बने रहना जरूरी है. वैसे, क्षेत्रीयतावाद से अपनी गोटी चमकाने के फिराक में रहने वाले और प्रत्यक्ष या परोक्ष रूप से भाजपा के समर्थक रहे लोग लालू और गुरुजी की दोस्ती या राजनीतिक गठबंधन की आलोचना करते रहते हैं.
