विभावि के भूगर्भ विज्ञान विद्यार्थियों ने किया सरिया-बगोदर क्षेत्र का फील्ड वर्क अध्ययन

विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय (विभावि) के स्नातकोत्तर भूगर्भ विज्ञान विभाग के सत्र 2023–25 के विद्यार्थियों ने रविवार को सरिया और बगोदर क्षेत्र में फील्ड वर्क किया। इस अध्ययन यात्रा का नेतृत्व विज्ञान संकाय के संकायाध्यक्ष सह विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ. एच. एन. सिन्हा ने किया।

विद्यार्थियों को मिले भूगर्भीय अनुभव

कार्यक्रम के दौरान विद्यार्थियों ने विभिन्न चट्टानों और खनिजों का प्रत्यक्ष अवलोकन किया। उन्हें छोटानागपुर ग्रेनाइट, एंफीबोलाइट सहित एपिडोट, फेल्सपार, अभ्रक और क्वार्ट्ज जैसे खनिज समूहों से परिचित कराया गया। साथ ही कालांतरित पत्थर और टेक्टोनिक्स से संबंधित विषयों की भी व्याख्या की गई।

इस अवसर पर विभागीय शिक्षक भैया अनुपम, तथा खनन एवं भूविज्ञान विभाग के कुणाल कौशल और विवेकानंद झा उपस्थित रहे। सभी विशेषज्ञों ने फील्ड वर्क की महत्ता और तकनीकी जानकारियाँ विद्यार्थियों के साथ साझा कीं।

आगामी चरण में होगा और अध्ययन

डॉ. सिन्हा ने बताया कि इस फील्ड वर्क का आयोजन विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति प्रो. चंद्र भूषण शर्मा द्वारा उपलब्ध कराई गई राशि से संभव हो पाया। उन्होंने आगे जानकारी देते हुए कहा कि फील्ड वर्क का अगला चरण 29 अगस्त और 1 सितंबर को घाटो, रामगढ़ और बोकारो के भूगर्भीय क्षेत्रों में आयोजित किया जाएगा।
