गुमला, 23 सितंबर: तेलंगाना राज्य के नागरकुरनुल जिले में हुए भयावह SLBC सुरंग हादसे में जान गंवाने वाले गुमला जिले के दो मजदूरों के परिजनों को मंगलवार को मुआवजा राशि दी गई। यह भुगतान कर्मचारी प्रतिकर अधिनियम 1923 के तहत किया गया। चंदाली स्थित समाहरणालय सभागार में उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित ने परिजनों को कंपनी द्वारा भेजी गई राशि औपचारिक रूप से सौंपी।
परिजनों को मिली आर्थिक सहायता
आधिकारिक जानकारी के अनुसार, मृतक संदीप साहू के परिवार को कुल 7.71 लाख रुपये का मुआवजा दिया गया। इसमें उनकी बहन पूर्णिमा कुमारी को 3 लाख रुपये और माता बिरसमुन्नी देवी को 4,71,583 रुपये का चेक प्रदान किया गया। वहीं, मृतक जगता क्षेस की माता मंगरी देवी को 11,81,659 रुपये की राशि सौंपी गई।
उपायुक्त ने जताई संवेदना
इस अवसर पर उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित ने दोनों परिवारों के प्रति गहरी संवेदना व्यक्त की। उन्होंने कहा कि यह आर्थिक सहयोग दुख की इस घड़ी में परिवारों को आंशिक राहत देगा। उन्होंने आश्वासन दिया कि मजदूर परिवारों की सुरक्षा एवं अधिकारों की रक्षा के लिए जिला प्रशासन हमेशा तत्पर रहेगा और आगे भी हरसंभव सहायता करता रहेगा।
मजदूर सुरक्षा पर जोर
उपायुक्त ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिया कि मजदूरों से संबंधित योजनाओं और उनके अधिकारों की जानकारी देने के लिए नियमित रूप से जागरूकता अभियान चलाए जाएं। उन्होंने कहा कि दुर्घटनाओं की स्थिति में प्रभावित परिवारों तक त्वरित राहत पहुंचाना प्रशासन की प्राथमिकता होनी चाहिए।
