रांची : स्कूली शिक्षा एवं साक्षरता विभाग, झारखंड सरकार के अंतर्गत झारखंड शिक्षा परियोजना परिषद, रांची की अगुवाई में दिल्ली गई राज्य हॉकी टीम ने सरदार मनमोहन सिंह 42वें राष्ट्रीय नेहरू सब जूनियर हॉकी टूर्नामेंट में शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए सेमीफाइनल में प्रवेश कर लिया है।
दिल्ली के शिवाजी स्टेडियम में 8 से 18 अक्टूबर तक आयोजित इस प्रतियोगिता में अंडर-15 बालक वर्ग के तहत झारखंड टीम ने नामधारी हॉकी अकादमी (हरियाणा) को 10–1 के बड़े अंतर से पराजित किया। अब झारखंड टीम का सेमीफाइनल मुकाबला 17 अक्टूबर 2025 को नवल टाटा हॉकी अकादमी, जमशेदपुर से होगा। गौरतलब है कि दोनों टीमें झारखंड की हैं, जो राज्य के लिए गर्व का विषय है।
विशेष प्रशिक्षण से मिला प्रदर्शन का आत्मविश्वास
राज्य कार्यक्रम पदाधिकारी धीर सिंह ने कहा, “टीम के उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन में विभाग द्वारा आयोजित 21 दिवसीय विशेष प्रशिक्षण शिविर की अहम भूमिका रही है। खिलाड़ियों ने उमंग और समर्पण के साथ खेलते हुए राज्य का गौरव बढ़ाया है।”
टीम का नेतृत्व कोच सैयद मोहम्मद मसरूर और मैनेजर बिरयानी कोंगरी कर रहे हैं। क्वार्टरफाइनल में साहिल होरो और साकेत प्रधान ने तीन-तीन जबकि सचिन भेंगरा और सुकवान भेंगरा ने दो-दो गोल किए।
प्रतियोगिता में विजेता टीम को ₹1,60,000, उपविजेता को ₹96,000, और दो उत्कृष्ट खिलाड़ियों को ₹25,000-₹25,000 का नकद पुरस्कार प्रदान किया जाएगा।
