गुमला : उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देशानुसार जिले में सड़क सुरक्षा को सुदृढ़ बनाने और मदिरापान कर वाहन चलाने (Drunk and Drive) की घटनाओं पर नियंत्रण के लिए शनिवार को जिला शल्य चिकित्सक-सह-मुख्य चिकित्सा पदाधिकारी, गुमला द्वारा जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी ज्ञान शंकर जायसवाल को ब्रेथ एनलाइजर उपकरण प्रदान किया गया।
उपकरण का उद्देश्य
इस अत्याधुनिक उपकरण की सहायता से वाहन चालकों के रक्त में अल्कोहल की मात्रा का तुरंत परीक्षण किया जा सकेगा। परीक्षण में दोषी पाए गए चालकों पर मोटरयान अधिनियम के प्रावधानों के अंतर्गत तत्काल जुर्माना एवं कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
प्रशासन की अपील
जिला प्रशासन ने सभी वाहन चालकों से अपील की है कि —

सड़क पर वाहन चलाते समय नशे का सेवन न करें,

यातायात नियमों का पालन करें, और
-
एक सुरक्षित एवं जिम्मेदार नागरिक के रूप में व्यवहार करें।
उपायुक्त ने कहा कि यह कदम जन सुरक्षा, दुर्घटना रोकथाम और अनुशासित यातायात व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित करने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण पहल है।
