गुमला : अवैध नशे के कारोबार पर सख्ती के तहत सदर थाना पुलिस को रविवार को एक बड़ी सफलता मिली है। अनुमंडल पुलिस पदाधिकारी सुरेश प्रसाद यादव ने प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में जानकारी दी कि पुलिस ने शहर के मेन रोड स्थित एक घड़ी दुकान में छापामारी कर अरशद अंसारी नामक युवक को गिरफ्तार किया है।
बरामदगी और कीमत
गिरफ्तारी के दौरान पुलिस ने उसके पास से 4.6 ग्राम ब्राउन शुगर बरामद किया, जिसकी कुल अनुमानित कीमत लगभग ₹40,000 बताई गई है। पुलिस के अनुसार यह खेप अवैध नशीले पदार्थों की बिक्री के लिए लाई गई थी।
पूछताछ में खुलासा
गिरफ्तार युवक ने प्रारंभिक पूछताछ में बताया कि यह ब्राउन शुगर उसे कुम्हार टोली निवासी दीपक नामक व्यक्ति ने दिया था। वर्तमान में दीपक फरार है, और पुलिस उसकी तलाश में लगातार छापेमारी कर रही है।
पुलिस की टिप्पणी
अनुमंडल पुलिस पदाधिकारी ने कहा —
“इस कार्रवाई के माध्यम से नशे के एक छोटे लेकिन सक्रिय नेटवर्क का खुलासा हुआ है। पुलिस अवैध नशे के कारोबार पर पूरी तरह नकेल कसने के लिए अभियान तेज कर चुकी है।”
गिरफ्तार आरोपी अरशद अंसारी, रजा कॉलोनी का रहने वाला बताया गया है। पुलिस ने बताया कि जिले में नशे की तस्करी और खपत दोनों पर अंकुश लगाने के लिए लगातार विशेष अभियान जारी रहेगा।
