गुमला : – गुमला व्योहार न्यायालय के एएसजे तीन भूपेश कुमार की अदालत ने गुमला थाना क्षेत्र के लठ्ठा गांव निवासी सुरज उरांव को अपनी प्रेमिका सुवंती कुमारी की हत्या के मामले में दोषी करार देते हुए आजीवन कारावास की सजा सुनाई है। साथ ही अदालत ने 20 हजार रुपए का जुर्माना भी लगाया है।
जुर्माना नहीं देने पर दोषी को तीन वर्ष अतिरिक्त सजा भुगतनी होगी। मामले में सरकारी पक्ष की ओर से अपर लोक अभियोजक सुधीर कुमार टोप्पो ने पैरवी की। यह घटना 13 अप्रैल 2022 की है। दर्ज प्राथमिकी के अनुसार मृतका के बड़े भाई संजय उरांव ने बताया कि उसकी बहन सुवंती कुमारी और आरोपित सुरज उरांव आपस में प्रेम संबंध में थे और साथ में पति-पत्नी की तरह रहते थे।
घटना वाले दिन दोनों उसके घर बिशुनपुर आए और फिर
महुआ चुनने गए, इसी लौटने के क्रम में दोनों के बीच किसी बात
को लेकर कहासुनी हो गई। इसके बाद दोनों नहाने के
लिए कुआं की ओर गए, लेकिन वापस नहीं लौटे। अगले
दिन 14 अप्रैल 2022 को सुवंती का शव गांव से कुछ
दूरी पर मिला। पुलिस जांच में पुष्टि हुई कि सुरज उरांव ने ही प्रेमिका सुवंती कुमारी को रस्सी से गला दबाकर उसकी हत्या की थी।
