खूंटी में मातृभाषा शिक्षा और बालिका सशक्तिकरण मॉडल का यूनिसेफ ने किया अवलोकन

यूनिसेफ इंडिया कंट्री ऑफिस के उप-प्रतिनिधि श्री अर्जन डे वाग्ट के नेतृत्व में एक टीम ने खूंटी जिले के कस्तूरबा गांधी बालिका आवासीय विद्यालयों का दौरा कर झारखंड में मातृभाषा-आधारित बहुभाषी शिक्षा और बालिका सशक्तिकरण से जुड़ी पहलों का प्रत्यक्ष अवलोकन किया। टीम ने जमीनी स्तर पर शिक्षा में आ रहे सकारात्मक बदलावों की सराहना की।

मातृभाषा में पढ़ाई से बढ़ा आत्मविश्वास
खूंटी प्रखंड के अनिगढ़ा स्थित कस्तूरबा गांधी आवासीय विद्यालय में यूनिसेफ टीम ने देखा कि मातृभाषा में शिक्षण और कक्षा-स्तर के अनुरूप रोचक शिक्षण सामग्री से बच्चों की भागीदारी, समझ और आत्मविश्वास में उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि हुई है। शिक्षकों, शिक्षा अधिकारियों और अभिभावकों से बातचीत में यह सामने आया कि मातृभाषा को सेतु बनाकर बच्चों को आगे हिंदी और अंग्रेज़ी सीखने के लिए तैयार किया जा रहा है।
यह मातृभाषा-आधारित बहुभाषी शिक्षा पहल झारखंड शिक्षा परियोजना परिषद द्वारा यूनिसेफ और लैंग्वेज लर्निंग फाउंडेशन के सहयोग से राज्य के 1,000 से अधिक स्कूलों में लागू की गई है, जिसके तहत मुंडारी, हो, खड़िया, कुड़ुख और संथाली जैसी आदिवासी भाषाओं में शिक्षण हो रहा है। अधिकारियों ने बताया कि अनुभवों का व्यवस्थित दस्तावेजीकरण किया जा रहा है, ताकि राज्यस्तरीय बहुभाषी शिक्षा नीति को मजबूत आधार मिल सके।

कर्रा कस्तूरबा विद्यालय में STEM और जीवन-कौशल
कर्रा स्थित कस्तूरबा गांधी बालिका आवासीय विद्यालय में टीम ने छात्राओं द्वारा किए गए विज्ञान-गणित (STEM) प्रयोगों को देखा। छात्राओं ने विद्युत सर्किट, द्रव्यमान संतुलन और बेकार सामग्री से उपयोगी उपकरण बनाने जैसे प्रयोगों का प्रदर्शन किया। इन गतिविधियों ने विज्ञान और गणित में लड़कियों की बढ़ती भागीदारी और लैंगिक रूढ़िवादिता को तोड़ने के प्रयासों को रेखांकित किया।

‘आधा-फुल सेल्फ एस्टीम पैकेज’ से संदेश
विद्यालय की छात्राओं ने लघु नाटक के माध्यम से ‘आधा-फुल सेल्फ एस्टीम पैकेज’ प्रस्तुत कर यह संदेश दिया कि साहसिक कार्य और अन्वेषण केवल लड़कों तक सीमित नहीं हैं। साथ ही, विद्यालयों में मासिक धर्म स्वच्छता प्रबंधन, किशोरावस्था शिक्षा और इको-क्लब के जरिए पर्यावरण संरक्षण से जुड़ी गतिविधियां भी संचालित की जा रही हैं।

यूनिसेफ का वक्तव्य
यूनिसेफ झारखंड की राज्य प्रमुख डॉ. कनिनिका मित्रा ने कहा कि मातृभाषा-आधारित शिक्षा और कस्तूरबा विद्यालयों में व्यापक जीवन-कौशल कार्यक्रम, हाशिए पर रहने वाले बच्चों के लिए गुणवत्तापूर्ण और समान शिक्षा सुनिश्चित करने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण कदम हैं।

इस अवसर पर यूनिसेफ झारखंड टीम के साथ शिक्षा विशेषज्ञ पारुल शर्मा, एसबीसी विशेषज्ञ जोशीला पल्लपति, वॉश अधिकारी लक्ष्मी सक्सेना सहित जिला शिक्षा पदाधिकारी अपरूपा पाल चौधरी, अतिरिक्त जिला कार्यक्रम पदाधिकारी सुनील लकड़ा, सहायक कार्यक्रम पदाधिकारी वंदना भट्ट और बिस्वा दीपक झा तथा लैंग्वेज लर्निंग फाउंडेशन से पल्लवी शा और बृजेश उपस्थित रहे।
