सड़क सुरक्षा को लेकर गुमला में सघन जांच अभियान, 30 से अधिक वाहन चालकों पर कार्रवाई

गुमला | जिले में बढ़ती सड़क दुर्घटनाओं पर अंकुश लगाने के उद्देश्य से मंगलवार को सड़क सुरक्षा को लेकर एक बड़ा जांच अभियान चलाया गया। यह अभियान जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी ज्ञान शंकर जायसवाल के निर्देश पर मोटरयान निरीक्षक (एमवीआई) रॉबिन अजय सिंह एवं प्रदीप कुमार तिर्की के नेतृत्व में भरनो थाना के सामने चलाया गया।

अधिकारियों ने बताया कि अभियान का मुख्य उद्देश्य यातायात नियमों की अनदेखी करने वाले चालकों पर कार्रवाई कर सड़क दुर्घटनाओं की रोकथाम करना है। जांच के दौरान विशेष रूप से दोपहिया वाहन चालकों पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया गया।

इन उल्लंघनों पर रही खास नजर
अभियान के दौरान बिना हेलमेट वाहन चलाने, एक बाइक पर तीन सवारी बैठाने (ट्रिपल राइडिंग), तथा बिना वैध दस्तावेजों के वाहन संचालन करने वालों की सघन जांच की गई। इसके अलावा ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस, बीमा, परमिट, प्रदूषण प्रमाण पत्र (पीयूसी) और रोड टैक्स की भी जांच की गई।

साथ ही, ध्वनि प्रदूषण फैलाने वाले प्रेशर हॉर्न और मल्टी-टोन हॉर्न के उपयोग पर भी सख्ती बरती गई।

30 से अधिक चालकों पर कार्रवाई, 50 हजार का जुर्माना
जांच अभियान के दौरान यातायात नियमों का उल्लंघन करते पाए गए 30 से अधिक वाहन चालकों को पकड़ा गया। इन सभी पर नियमानुसार कार्रवाई करते हुए कुल ₹50,000 (पचास हजार रुपये) का जुर्माना वसूला गया।

जागरूकता पर भी दिया गया जोर
अभियान के दौरान मोटरयान निरीक्षकों ने केवल जुर्माना ही नहीं लगाया, बल्कि वाहन चालकों को सड़क सुरक्षा और यातायात नियमों के महत्व के बारे में भी जागरूक किया। अधिकारियों ने बताया कि लापरवाही से वाहन चलाने के कारण गंभीर दुर्घटनाएं होती हैं, जिनसे जान-माल की भारी क्षति होती है।

परिवहन विभाग के अधिकारियों ने स्पष्ट चेतावनी दी कि भविष्य में भी इस तरह के जांच अभियान जारी रहेंगे और नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वालों के खिलाफ और अधिक सख्त कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

यह अभियान गुमला जिले में सुरक्षित, अनुशासित और जिम्मेदार सड़क परिवहन व्यवस्था स्थापित करने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण पहल माना जा रहा है।
