गुमला में कुपोषण उन्मूलन को लेकर आंगनबाड़ी सेविकाओं का दो दिवसीय प्रशिक्षण संपन्न

कुपोषण मुक्त बनाने की दिशा में यह पहल मील का पत्थर साबित होगी

गुमला : – गुमला जिला प्रशासन एवं बाल विकास परियोजना के सहयोग से स्वयंसेवी संस्था एकजुट द्वारा जिले में कुपोषण उन्मूलन और पोषण संवर्धन को लेकर आंगनबाड़ी सेविकाओं का दो दिवसीय प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम संपन्न हुआ। यह प्रशिक्षण टाटा ट्रस्ट के वित्तीय सहयोग से संचालित ‘जीवन परियोजना’ के तहत भरनो प्रखंड सभागार में आयोजित किया गया।

प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम में एकजुट संस्था के जीवन परियोजना प्रबंधक दीपक कुमार सिन्हा ने सेविकाओं को पोषण के महत्व, स्थानीय संसाधनों के सही उपयोग तथा मातृ-शिशु पोषण प्रबंधन की वैज्ञानिक जानकारी दी। उन्होंने कहा कि “गांवों में पोषक तत्वों का विशाल भंडार उपलब्ध है, लेकिन जानकारी के अभाव में उसका समुचित उपयोग नहीं हो पाता। यदि गर्भवती व धात्री माताएं पोषाहार का सही उपयोग करें और स्थानीय सब्जियों-फलों की पहचान कर संतुलित आहार अपनाएं, तो कुपोषण जैसी गंभीर समस्या को काफी हद तक नियंत्रित किया जा सकता है।”

उन्होंने बताया कि झारखंड, विशेषकर गुमला जिला, कुपोषण की गंभीर चुनौती से जूझ रहा है। इसी के निदान के उद्देश्य से यह परियोजना पायलट आधार पर झारखंड के गुमला और सिमडेगा जिलों में लागू की गई है। गुमला जिले में इस कार्य का दायित्व एकजुट संस्था को सौंपा गया है, जबकि सिमडेगा जिले में अन्य स्वयंसेवी संस्था के माध्यम से परियोजना का क्रियान्वयन किया जा रहा है।

प्रशिक्षण में “सुनहरे 1000 दिन” की अवधारणा पर विशेष जोर दिया गया। बताया गया कि गर्भावस्था के 270 दिन, जन्म के बाद शिशु के 180 दिन तक केवल स्तनपान तथा उसके बाद ऊपरी आहार के साथ कुल 1000 दिनों की अवधि शिशु के शारीरिक एवं मानसिक विकास के लिए अत्यंत निर्णायक होती है। विशेषज्ञों के अनुसार, बच्चे का लगभग 80 प्रतिशत मानसिक विकास इसी अवधि में होता है। इसे भवन की नींव से तुलना करते हुए कहा गया कि “जैसी नींव मजबूत होगी, वैसी ही इमारत सुदृढ़ बनेगी।”

परियोजना के तहत आंगनबाड़ी केंद्रों में खाद्य प्रदर्शन, पोषण युक्त भोजन खिलाने की बेहतर पद्धति, समुदाय की सहभागिता, ग्राम स्वास्थ्य एवं पोषण निगरानी समितियों को सशक्त बनाने तथा पंचायती राज संस्थाओं की सक्रिय भूमिका सुनिश्चित करने पर भी विस्तार से चर्चा की गई। इसका उद्देश्य ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों, विशेषकर गरीब परिवारों के बच्चों को निरंतर एवं पर्याप्त पोषण उपलब्ध कराना है।

प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम में भरनो प्रखंड की बाल विकास परियोजना पदाधिकारी नीलम केरकेट्टा, जीवन परियोजना के प्रदीप हजाम एवं एलिस टोपनो ने भी सेविकाओं को पोषण, देखभाल एवं सामुदायिक जागरूकता से जुड़े विभिन्न पहलुओं पर प्रशिक्षण प्रदान किया।

आयोजकों ने उम्मीद जताई कि इस प्रशिक्षण के माध्यम से आंगनबाड़ी सेविकाएं समुदाय में पोषण के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाने में प्रभावी भूमिका निभाएंगी और गुमला जिले को कुपोषण मुक्त बनाने की दिशा में यह पहल मील का पत्थर साबित होगी।
