बसिया में इंडिकैश एटीएम चोरी, मशीन काटकर ले उड़े चोर; 68 हजार रुपये थे जमा

गुमला जिले के बसिया थाना क्षेत्र अंतर्गत खुदी चौक के समीप सोमवार देर रात अज्ञात चोरों ने इंडिकैश एटीएम को काटकर मौके से उड़ा लिया। एटीएम में करीब 68 हजार रुपये मौजूद थे। चोरी के दौरान चोरों ने पहचान छिपाने के उद्देश्य से सीसीटीवी कैमरे पर काले रंग का स्प्रे कर उसे क्षतिग्रस्त भी कर दिया।

बैंक कर्मियों से मिली जानकारी के अनुसार, चोरों ने सबसे पहले एटीएम का शटर उखाड़ा, इसके बाद पूरी एटीएम मशीन को काटकर वाहन के जरिए अपने साथ ले गए। सुबह घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही बसिया थाना पुलिस दलबल के साथ मौके पर पहुंची और जांच शुरू की।

घटनास्थल से तकनीकी साक्ष्य जुटाए जा रहे हैं और आसपास के इलाकों में लगे अन्य सीसीटीवी कैमरों की फुटेज भी खंगाली जा रही है। पुलिस यह भी जांच कर रही है कि चोरी की इस वारदात में किसी संगठित गिरोह का हाथ है या नहीं।

इस संबंध में एसडीपीओ नाजिर अख्तर ने बताया कि मामला गंभीर है और पुलिस गहन अनुसंधान में जुटी हुई है। उन्होंने इसे शातिर अपराधियों की करतूत बताते हुए कहा कि जल्द ही एटीएम और चोरी गई राशि की बरामदगी की उम्मीद है।

2024 में भी बसिया में हो चुकी है बड़ी एटीएम चोरी

गौरतलब है कि सितंबर 2024 में बसिया प्रखंड के कोनबीर स्थित एसबीआई एटीएम से लगभग 25 लाख रुपये की बड़ी चोरी की घटना सामने आई थी। उस दौरान चोरों ने गैस कटर से एटीएम मशीन को काटा था और बाद में उसमें आग लगा दी थी।

उस वारदात में चोरों ने बसिया निवासी संजय चौधरी के मालवाहक ट्रक की चोरी कर उसी वाहन का उपयोग एटीएम उखाड़ने में किया था। बाद में ट्रक कामडारा प्रखंड के बाकूटोली मोड़ के पास शॉर्ट सर्किट के कारण बंद हो गया था, जिसके बाद चोर नकदी लेकर फरार हो गए थे। उस मामले में अब तक कोई ठोस सुराग हाथ नहीं लग पाया है।

लगातार हो रही एटीएम चोरी की घटनाओं से क्षेत्र में सुरक्षा व्यवस्था पर सवाल खड़े हो रहे हैं।
