गोमिया धुर्वा मोड़ पर भीषण आग, होटल व दो गुमटी जलकर राख, लाखों की संपत्ति नष्ट

गोमिया थाना क्षेत्र अंतर्गत धुर्वा मोड के समीप सोमवार की देर रात करीब 11 बजे भीषण आग लगने से एक होटल और दो गुमटी पूरी तरह जलकर राख हो गई। आग की इस घटना में दुकानों में रखी लाखों रुपये की सामग्री नष्ट हो गई।
प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार होटल संचालक चंदन कुमार ने रोज की तरह रात करीब 7:30 से 7:45 बजे के बीच अपना होटल बंद कर ताला लगाकर घर चले गए थे। होटल के बगल में सटे एक अन्य होटल में भी कुछ सामान रखा हुआ था। वहीं पास में स्थित गुमटी में बिक्री के लिए रखा पेट्रोल और डीजल आग लगने के बाद आग को और भी विकराल बना दिया।
तेज हवा चलने के कारण आग ने कुछ ही देर में भयावह रूप ले लिया और होटल समेत दो गुमटी पूरी तरह जलकर खाक हो गईं। बताया जा रहा है कि गुमटी में रखे पेट्रोल-डीजल के कारण आग तेजी से फैली, जिससे आसपास अफरा-तफरी मच गई।
इसी दौरान गोमिया थाना की पेट्रोलिंग पार्टी ने आग को देखा और तुरंत इसकी सूचना फायर ब्रिगेड को दी। हालांकि फायर ब्रिगेड के पहुंचने में लगभग एक घंटे का समय लग गया, तब तक तेज हवाओं के कारण आग सब कुछ जलाकर राख कर चुकी थी।
घटना की सूचना मिलते ही होटल मालिक चंदन कुमार करीब 15–20 मिनट के भीतर मौके पर पहुंचे, जहां उन्होंने देखा कि उनका सारा सामान जल चुका है। इस अग्निकांड में लाखों रुपये की संपत्ति के नुकसान का अनुमान लगाया जा रहा है।
फिलहाल आग लगने के कारणों का पता नहीं चल सका है। पुलिस मामले की जांच में जुटी हुई है
