बढ़ती ठंड को देखते हुए शहरी बस्तियों में जरूरतमंदों के बीच कंबल वितरण अभियान जारी

गुमला : – गुमला जिले में बढ़ती ठंड एवं शीतलहर को देखते हुए उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देश के आलोक में शहरी बस्तियों में निवासरत जरूरतमंद एवं असहाय नागरिकों के बीच जिला सामाजिक सुरक्षा कोषांग के नेतृत्व में नगर परिषद, गुमला द्वारा कंबल वितरण का कार्य निरंतर किया जा रहा है।
नगर परिषद की टीम द्वारा विशेष रूप से देर शाम एवं रात्रि के समय शहरी क्षेत्रों, झुग्गी-झोपड़ी, फुटपाथ, बस स्टैंड क्षेत्र एवं अन्य सार्वजनिक स्थलों पर पहुंचकर ठंड से प्रभावित जरूरतमंद नागरिकों को कंबल वितरित किए जा रहे हैं, ताकि उन्हें ठंड से राहत मिल सके।
इस दौरान नगर परिषद की टीम ने वृद्धजन, बेसहारा, दिव्यांग, महिला एवं बच्चों को प्राथमिकता देते हुए मानवीय संवेदना के साथ कंबल वितरण सुनिश्चित किया। अभियान का उद्देश्य यह है कि कोई भी जरूरतमंद नागरिक ठंड के कारण असुरक्षित स्थिति में न रहे।
उपायुक्त द्वारा यह भी निर्देश दिया गया है कि शीतलहर की अवधि तक कंबल वितरण अभियान जारी रखा जाएगा तथा आवश्यकता अनुसार अन्य राहत कार्य भी किए जाएंगे। जिला प्रशासन आम नागरिकों से अपील करता है कि यदि किसी क्षेत्र में कोई जरूरतमंद व्यक्ति ठंड से प्रभावित दिखे, तो इसकी सूचना संबंधित प्रशासनिक इकाई को दें, ताकि समय पर सहायता उपलब्ध कराई जा सके।
