गुमला :- गुमला दिनांक-18.01.2026 को पुलिस कप्तान गुमला हरिश बिन जामां को गुप्त सूचना मिली कि गुमला जिला के पालकोट थाना क्षेत्र में एक काला रंग का Hyundai Car एवं एक सफेद रंग का Scorpio 11 वाहन से मादक पदार्थ (गांजा) की तस्करी की जा रही है। उक्त सूचना का मिलते ही पुलिस कप्तान हरिश बिन जामां ने त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए, उक्त गुप्त सूचना की सत्यापन एवं आवश्यक कार्रवाई हेतु नाजिर अख्तर, अनुमण्डल पुलिस पदाधिकारी, बसिया के नेतृत्व में एक छापामारी दल का गठन किया तथा उक्त टीम के द्वारा दिनांक-18.01.2026 को पालकोट थानान्तर्गत दतली डैम पुल के समक्ष जंगल के पास स्थित चेकनाका लगाया गया और उक्त स्थल में वाहन चेकिंग के दौरान सूचनानूसार संदिग्ध वाहनों को रोका गया तथा बारी-बारी गाड़ी एवं अज्ञात व्यक्तियों की तालाशी की गई। वाहन तालाशी के दौरान गाड़ी में संदिग्ध वस्तुओं के संबंध में अज्ञात व्यक्तियों से पूछे जाने पर बताया गया किया कि लगभग 1,32 कि०ग्रा० गांजा है। उक्त मादक पदार्थ को विधिवत् जप्त किया गया तथा तस्करी में शामिल सभी अभियुक्तों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है।
