अशोक हाउस बना ओवरऑल चैंपियन
गोमिया स्थित पिट्स मॉडर्न स्कूल में आयोजित 47वें वार्षिक खेलकूद समारोह का समापन अनुशासन, उत्साह और सच्ची खेल भावना के साथ संपन्न हुआ। समारोह की शुरुआत मुख्य अतिथि अरिंदम दासगुप्ता, उपाध्यक्ष (गोमिया विद्यालय प्रबंधन समिति) के आगमन से हुई, जिनका विद्यालय परिवार द्वारा गर्मजोशी से स्वागत किया गया।
इस अवसर पर अभिषेक विश्वास, महाप्रबंधक (आईईपीएल ओरिका, गोमिया) एवं प्रभास झा, सदस्य (विद्यालय प्रबंधन समिति) की गरिमामय उपस्थिति ने कार्यक्रम की शोभा बढ़ाई। अतिथियों का स्वागत गुलदस्ता भेंट कर किया गया।
मुख्य अतिथि द्वारा विद्यालय ध्वज फहराया गया, जिसके पश्चात परेड निरीक्षण हुआ। विद्यार्थियों द्वारा प्रस्तुत आकर्षक मार्च पास्ट ने उनके अनुशासन, समन्वय और हाउस भावना को दर्शाया। खेल भावना के प्रतीक मशाल प्रज्ज्वलन एवं निष्पक्षता की शपथ के साथ खेल उत्सव का औपचारिक शुभारंभ किया गया।
पी.टी. प्रदर्शन ने टीम वर्क और शारीरिक दक्षता का प्रभावशाली प्रदर्शन किया। वहीं कराटे, ताइक्वांडो, जूडो, गतका, मुक्केबाजी एवं तीरंदाजी के शानदार प्रदर्शनों ने दर्शकों को मंत्रमुग्ध कर दिया।
ट्रैक स्पर्धाओं में अंडर-14, अंडर-17 एवं अंडर-19 वर्ग (बालक-बालिका) की 100 मीटर फाइनल दौड़ें आयोजित की गईं। इसके बाद इंटर-हाउस 4×100 मीटर रिले रेस ने रोमांच को और बढ़ा दिया।
पुरस्कार वितरण समारोह में विजेताओं को सम्मानित किया गया—
• पी.टी. प्रदर्शन: वैशाली हाउस (प्रथम), विक्रम हाउस (द्वितीय)
• मार्च पास्ट: अशोक हाउस (प्रथम), मगध हाउस (द्वितीय)
• सीसीए बेस्ट हाउस: अशोक हाउस (विजेता), विक्रम हाउस (उपविजेता)
• स्पोर्ट्स बेस्ट हाउस: वैशाली हाउस (विजेता), अशोक हाउस (उपविजेता)
सर्वांगीण उत्कृष्टता के लिए अशोक हाउस को प्रतिष्ठित बेस्ट हाउस ट्रॉफी प्रदान की गई।
विद्यालय के प्राचार्य बृजमोहन लाल दास ने छात्रों के प्रदर्शन पर गर्व व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि ऐसे आयोजन बच्चों में अनुशासन, नेतृत्व क्षमता और शारीरिक विकास को सशक्त बनाते हैं।
मुख्य अतिथि अरिंदम दासगुप्ता ने सफल आयोजन की सराहना करते हुए विद्यार्थियों को जीवन के हर क्षेत्र में खेल भावना बनाए रखने की प्रेरणा दी। वहीं अभिषेक विश्वास ने खेलों को चरित्र निर्माण का आधार बताते हुए विद्यार्थियों को निरंतर प्रयास करते रहने का संदेश दिया।
