गोमिया। गोमिया प्रखंड के विभिन्न गांवों में संत शिरोमणि गुरु रैदास जी की जयंती श्रद्धा और उत्साह के साथ मनाई गई। इस अवसर पर राज्य के पेयजल एवं स्वच्छता तथा उत्पाद एवं मद्य निषेध विभाग के मंत्री योगेंद्र प्रसाद ने गोमिया के चुगनु गुजरु कुंदा, बड़की पुन्नू एवं गोरिया टोला (देवीपुर) में आयोजित जयंती समारोहों में शामिल होकर संत गुरु रैदास जी को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की।
आयोजित कार्यक्रम में मंत्री ने संत रैदास के चित्र पर माल्यार्पण कर नमन किया। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने कहा कि संत गुरु रैदास जी का जीवन समानता, सामाजिक न्याय और मानवता के मार्ग पर चलने की प्रेरणा देता है तथा उनके विचार आज भी समाज के लिए प्रासंगिक हैं। गुरु रविदास जी का दर्शन प्रेम, करुणा और समरसता पर आधारित समाज के निर्माण का संदेश देता है। अपने संबोधन में उन्होंने कहा कि गुरु रैदास जी का संदेश है कि व्यक्ति का मूल्यांकन जाति या जन्म से नहीं, बल्कि कर्म और मानवता से होना चाहिए।

इस दौरान उन्होंने बाबा साहेब डॉ. भीमराव अंबेडकर जी की प्रतिमा पर माल्यार्पण कर उन्हें नमन किया।
गोरिया टोला, देवीपुर में आयोजित समारोह में मंत्री जी को पुष्पगुच्छ व अंग वस्त्र भेंट कर उनका स्वागत किया गया तथा उन्हें संविधान की पुस्तक भी भेंट की गई। कार्यक्रमों में बड़ी संख्या में स्थानीय जनप्रतिनिधि, सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता एवं ग्रामीण उपस्थित रहे। पूरे गोमिया प्रखंड में संत शिरोमणि गुरु रविदास जयंती सामाजिक समरसता और भाईचारे के संदेश के साथ मनाई।
