बसिया अनुमण्डल अंतर्गत शैक्षणिक संस्थानों के 100 मीटर परिधि में तंबाकू उत्पादों की बिक्री व सेवन पर पूर्ण प्रतिबंध

गुमला : – गुमला जिला अंतर्गत स्थित बसिया अनुमण्डल क्षेत्र में सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य एवं शांति व्यवस्था बनाए रखने के उद्देश्य से अनुमण्डल पदाधिकारी-सह-दण्डाधिकारी, बसिया द्वारा भारतीय नागरिक सुरक्षा संहिता, 2023 की धारा 163 के तहत निषेधाज्ञा लागू की गई है।
उक्त आदेश के तहत बसिया अनुमण्डल क्षेत्रान्तर्गत सभी सरकारी एवं निजी विद्यालयों, महाविद्यालयों के चारों ओर 100 मीटर की परिधि में सिगरेट, बीड़ी, गुटखा, खैनी, जर्दा, पान मसाला, हुक्का सहित किसी भी प्रकार के तंबाकू एवं निकोटिन युक्त उत्पादों की बिक्री, भण्डारण, वितरण एवं सेवन पूर्णतः प्रतिबंधित किया गया है।
आदेश का उल्लंघन करने वाले व्यक्ति, दुकानदार अथवा संस्था के विरुद्ध COTPA Act, 2003 की सुसंगत धाराओं के अंतर्गत जुर्माना सहित विधिसम्मत दण्डात्मक कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
यह आदेश तत्काल प्रभाव से लागू होकर आगामी 60 दिनों तक प्रभावी रहेगा। जिला प्रशासन ने आमजनों से आदेश के अनुपालन में सहयोग की अपील की है।
