हाथियों का कहर: गोमिया के बड़की पुन्नू में एक ही परिवार के तीन लोगों को रौंद डाला, गांव में मातम और आक्रोश

गोमिया प्रखंड के बड़की पुन्नू गांव में गुरुवार को हाथियों के झुंड ने जो तांडव मचाया, उसने पूरे इलाके को हिला कर रख दिया। एक ही परिवार के तीन सदस्यों को हाथियों ने कुचलकर मौत के घाट उतार दिया, जिससे गांव में कोहराम मच गया। हर आंख नम है, हर घर में डर और गुस्सा साफ झलक रहा है।
घटना के बाद गांव में चीत्कार, रोना-बिलखना और दहशत का माहौल है। ग्रामीणों का कहना है कि “हाथी कोई नई बात नहीं हैं, लेकिन प्रशासन की तैयारी हमेशा घटना के बाद ही क्यों होती है?” लोगों का आरोप है कि हाथियों के विचरण की जानकारी पहले से थी, फिर भी कोई ठोस इंतजाम नहीं किया गया।
इस हृदयविदारक घटना पर उपायुक्त श्री अजय नाथ झा ने गहरा शोक व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि यह क्षति अपूरणीय है। उन्होंने स्पष्ट कहा कि जिला प्रशासन इस दुख की घड़ी में पीड़ित परिवार के साथ खड़ा है और उन्हें हर संभव सहायता दी जाएगी।
उपायुक्त ने अधिकारियों को कड़े निर्देश देते हुए कहा कि मुआवजा, पारिवारिक लाभ और अन्य सभी सरकारी योजनाओं का लाभ पीड़ित परिवार को बिना किसी देरी के मिले। उन्होंने कहा कि सिर्फ कागज़ी कार्रवाई नहीं, बल्कि ज़मीन पर राहत दिखनी चाहिए।
घटना की गंभीरता को देखते हुए उपायुक्त ने गोपनीय कार्यालय कक्ष में वन विभाग के अधिकारियों के साथ आपात बैठक की। बैठक में हाथियों के पारंपरिक रास्तों, गांवों में घुसने के कारण और प्रशासनिक चूक पर गंभीर चर्चा हुई। उपायुक्त ने दो टूक कहा कि अब लापरवाही नहीं चलेगी और ऐसी घटनाओं की पुनरावृत्ति रोकना प्रशासन की प्राथमिक जिम्मेदारी है।
उपायुक्त ने निर्देश दिया कि बड़की पुन्नू, गोपो, कंडेर, ललपनिया, रहावन जैसे हाथी प्रभावित पंचायतों में सोलर लाइट लगाने के लिए तुरंत सर्वे कर प्रस्ताव तैयार किया जाए, ताकि रात के अंधेरे में हाथियों की गतिविधियों पर नजर रखी जा सके और ग्रामीणों को समय रहते चेताया जा सके।
इसके साथ ही हाथी बचाव दल के गठन, आपात स्थिति में त्वरित कार्रवाई और गांव-गांव अलर्ट सिस्टम मजबूत करने का निर्देश दिया गया। उपायुक्त ने साफ कहा कि पतझड़ के मौसम में अनाज का सुरक्षित भंडारण नहीं हुआ तो हाथी गांव की ओर खिंचे चले आते हैं, इसलिए इस पर विशेष ध्यान दिया जाए। साथ ही जंगल क्षेत्र में हाथियों के लिए भोजन की व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित करने को कहा गया।
बैठक में उपायुक्त ने कहा कि मानव–हाथी संघर्ष अब केवल वन विभाग की समस्या नहीं, बल्कि पूरे प्रशासन की जिम्मेदारी है। जिला प्रशासन, पुलिस और वन विभाग मिलकर स्थायी समाधान की दिशा में काम करेंगे, ताकि आगे किसी और परिवार को अपनों की लाश उठाने की नौबत न आए।
बैठक में अपर समाहर्ता मो. मुमताज अंसारी, वन पदाधिकारी संदीप शिंदे, सहायक जनसंपर्क पदाधिकारी अविनाश कुमार सिंह सहित अन्य अधिकारी मौजूद थे।
