गोमिया— गोमिया प्रखंड के साड़म पश्चिमी पंचायत निवासी 34 वर्षीय संतोष केवट की तेनुघाट डैम में मछली पकड़ने के दौरान वज्रपात की चपेट में आने से मौत हो गई। घटना के बाद पूरे गांव में शोक का माहौल है।
जानकारी के अनुसार, शनिवार को संतोष केवट अपने कुछ साथियों के साथ तेनुघाट डैम में मछली पकड़ने गए थे। इसी दौरान अचानक तेज बारिश शुरू हो गई और वज्रपात की घटना हुई, जिसकी चपेट में आने से वह लापता हो गए। देर शाम तक घर नहीं लौटने पर परिजनों ने उनकी तलाश शुरू की।
तलाशी अभियान के दौरान ग्रामीणों ने डैम के साड़म लिंक नहर के पास पानी में उनका शव देखा। सूचना मिलने पर ग्रामीणों ने शव को बाहर निकाला और तत्काल गोमिया सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र पहुंचाया, जहां चिकित्सकों ने जांच के बाद उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया।
घटना की सूचना मिलते ही गांव में मातम छा गया। मृतक अपने पीछे परिवार के कई सदस्यों को छोड़ गए हैं। परिजनों का रो-रोकर बुरा हाल है, वहीं ग्रामीणों ने प्रशासन से पीड़ित परिवार को उचित मुआवजा देने की मांग की है।
