गुमला की बेटी अष्टम उरांव का भारतीय महिला फुटबॉल टीम में चयन

जिला प्रशासन द्वारा गृह भ्रमण कर सम्मान एवं सहयोग का आश्वासन

गुमला : – गुमला जिला अंतर्गत स्थित बिशुनपुर प्रखंड निवासी अष्टम उरांव को भारतीय महिला फुटबॉल टीम में चयनित होने पर जिला प्रशासन, गुमला की ओर से हार्दिक बधाई एवं शुभकामनाएँ दी गई हैं।

ऑस्ट्रेलिया में 1 मार्च से प्रारंभ हो रहे एएफसी महिला एशियन कप हेतु घोषित भारतीय टीम में झारखंड , गुमला की प्रतिभावान डिफेंडर अष्टम उरांव को स्थान मिला है। यह प्रतियोगिता 21 मार्च तक आयोजित होगी तथा वर्ष 2027 में ब्राज़ील में प्रस्तावित फीफा महिला विश्व कप के क्वालीफिकेशन से भी जुड़ी हुई है। हाल के राष्ट्रीय शिविरों में उनके उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन, रक्षण पंक्ति में उनकी सुदृढ़ भूमिका तथा पूर्व अंतरराष्ट्रीय मुकाबलों में उनके अनुभव को देखते हुए चयनकर्ताओं द्वारा उन्हें टीम में शामिल किया गया है।

उक्त उपलब्धि को देखते हुए,गुमला उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देश के आलोक में जिला खेल पदाधिकारी प्रवीण कुमार द्वारा बिशुनपुर प्रखंड के बनारी पंचायत अंतर्गत गोरा टोली गांव स्थित अष्टम उरांव के आवास पर पहुंचकर उनके माता-पिता को सम्मानित किया गया।

भ्रमण के दौरान उनके परिवारजनों से भेंट कर परिवार से संबंधित आवश्यकताओं की जानकारी ली गई। अष्टम उरांव द्वारा पक्का मकान, पेयजल बोरिंग, शौचालय एवं बाउंड्री वाल निर्माण हेतु अनुरोध किया गया, जिस पर गुमला उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देशानुसार अविलंब आवश्यक कार्रवाई एवं सहयोग सुनिश्चित करने का आश्वासन दिया गया।

उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित ने कहा कि अष्टम उरांव की यह उपलब्धि केवल उनके परिवार ही नहीं, बल्कि पूरा जिला सहित झारखंड राज्य के लिए गर्व का विषय है। उन्होंने कहा कि अष्टम की मेहनत, अनुशासन और समर्पण यह सिद्ध करता है कि सीमित संसाधनों के बावजूद दृढ़ इच्छाशक्ति से राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर पहचान बनाई जा सकती है।

उपायुक्त ने विश्वास व्यक्त किया कि अष्टम की सफलता से जिले की अन्य बेटियाँ भी खेल के क्षेत्र में आगे बढ़ने के लिए प्रेरित होंगी। उन्होंने कहा कि जिला प्रशासन प्रतिभावान खिलाड़ियों को आवश्यक सहयोग, मार्गदर्शन एवं प्रोत्साहन प्रदान करने के लिए निरंतर प्रतिबद्ध है, ताकि गुमला जिले की बेटियाँ राष्ट्रीय एवं अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर अपनी प्रतिभा का परचम लहराती रहें।
