गुमला : – गुमला जिला में विगत दिनों सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म्स पर बच्चों की गुमशुदगी, चोरी अथवा अपहरण से संबंधित विभिन्न प्रकार की खबरें एवं सूचनाएं तेजी से प्रसारित की जा रही हैं, जिससे आमजन के बीच भय और भ्रम की स्थिति उत्पन्न हो रही है। प्रशासनिक जांच में ऐसी अधिकांश सूचनाएं भ्रामक एवं अफवाह साबित हुई हैं।
जिला प्रशासन द्वारा आम नागरिकों से अपील की गई है कि सोशल मीडिया पर प्रसारित इस प्रकार की सूचनाओं पर बिना सत्यता की जांच किए विश्वास न करें। किसी भी प्रकार की भ्रामक सूचना या अफवाह फैलाना दंडनीय अपराध है। साथ ही, ऐसी अफवाहों के आधार पर किसी व्यक्ति के साथ मारपीट, प्रताड़ना अथवा किसी भी प्रकार की भीड़ हिंसा करना भी कानूनन अपराध है।
आम नागरिकों से अपील है कि यदि इस प्रकार की कोई भी सूचना या संदिग्ध मामला प्रकाश में आता है, तो इसकी जानकारी तत्काल स्थानीय थाना को दें अथवा आपातकालीन स्थिति में 112 पर कॉल करें। इसके अतिरिक्त जिला नियंत्रण कक्ष, गुमला के दूरभाष संख्या 9798148089 पर भी सूचना दी जा सकती है।
उक्त आलोक में उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देश के तहत जिला सूचना एवं जनसंपर्क विभाग, गुमला द्वारा जिले के विभिन्न चौक-चौराहों एवं सार्वजनिक स्थलों पर माईकिंग के माध्यम से लोगों को जागरूक किया जा रहा है, ताकि अफवाहों पर रोक लगाई जा सके तथा जिले में शांति एवं सौहार्दपूर्ण वातावरण बनाए रखा जा सके।
