गोमिया: बोकारो के पुलिस अधीक्षक के निर्देश पर सोमवार को गोमिया और कथारा के छिलका पुल के समीप ट्रैफिक पुलिस द्वारा सघन वाहन जांच अभियान चलाया गया। अभियान का नेतृत्व ट्रैफिक पुलिस के एसआई अरविंद कुमार ने किया।
इस दौरान ट्रैफिक पुलिस के शैलेश कुमार, विकास कुमार, मृत्युंजय कुमार और अमित कुमार सहित अन्य पुलिसकर्मी मौजूद रहे। जांच अभियान के दौरान यातायात नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वाले वाहनों की पहचान कर उनके खिलाफ कानूनी कार्रवाई की गई।
अभियान के दौरान कुल 37 वाहनों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करते हुए 67,500 रुपये का ऑनलाइन चालान किया गया। चालान किए गए वाहनों में दोपहिया और चारपहिया दोनों प्रकार के वाहन शामिल हैं।
एसआई अरविंद कुमार ने बताया कि यह अभियान सड़क सुरक्षा को बढ़ावा देने और लोगों को यातायात नियमों के प्रति जागरूक करने के उद्देश्य से चलाया गया। जांच के दौरान हेलमेट, ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस, वाहन बीमा, प्रदूषण प्रमाण पत्र और सीट बेल्ट की विशेष रूप से जांच की गई।
उन्होंने कहा कि दोपहिया वाहन चालकों को हेलमेट पहनने के लिए विशेष रूप से सख्ती बरती गई, वहीं चारपहिया वाहन चालकों को सीट बेल्ट लगाने का निर्देश दिया गया। ट्रैफिक पुलिस ने आगे भी ऐसे अभियान जारी रखने की बात कही है ताकि सड़क दुर्घटनाओं में कमी लाई जा सके।
