गुमला : – गुमला जिला में हर वर्ष की भांति इस वर्ष भी सरहुल का त्यौहार काफी धूमधाम से मनाया गया , इस अवसर पर लोहरदगा रोड छात्रावास से एक विशाल जुलूस निकाली गई, जिसमें बड़े बुजुर्ग, नर नारी, युवक युवतियाँ , और बच्चे बच्चियँ ढोल नगाड़े और मांदर के थाप पर, नृत्य संगीत की धुन पर नाचते गाते नजर आए, जिला प्रशासन गुमला उपयुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित , पुलिस प्रशासन गुमला पुलिस कप्तान हरिश बिन जामां के निर्देश पर समस्त चौक चौराहा पर मजिस्ट्रेट, पुलिस पदाधिकारी,और सशस्त्र बल महिला पुरुष जवान अपने-अपने ड्यूटी पर मुस्तैद नजर आए *सरहुल त्योहार* (संताली ) मध्य-पूर्व भारत के आदिवासी समुदायों का एक प्रमुख पर्व है, सरहुल त्यौहार जो झारखण्ड, पश्चिम बंगाल, ओडिशा, छत्तीसगढ़ और मध्य भारत के आदिवासी क्षेत्रों में मनाया जाता है। इस पर्व को मुख्य रूप से मुण्डा, भूमिज, हो, संथाल और उराँव आदिवासियों द्वारा मनाया जाता है, और यह उनके महत्वपूर्ण उत्सवों में से एक है यह उत्सव चैत्र महीने के तीसरे दिन, चैत्र शुक्ल तृतीया को मनाया जाता है। यह नए साल की शुरुआत की निशानी है। हालांकि इस त्योहार की कोई निश्चित तारीख नहीं होती क्योंकि विभिन्न गांवों में इसे विभिन्न दिनों पर मनाया जाता है,

गुमला जिला में इस वार्षिक सरहुल त्यौहार बसंत ऋतु के दौरान मनाया जाता है और इसमें पेड़ों और प्रकृति के अन्य तत्वों की पूजा शामिल होती है। इस समय, साल (शोरिया रोबस्टा) पेड़ों में फूल आने लगते हैं। झारखण्ड में, इससे एक राजकीय अवकाश घोषित किया गया है।सरहुल का शाब्दिक अर्थ है ‘साल वृक्ष की पूजा’, सरहुल त्योहार धरती माता को समर्पित है – इस त्योहार के दौरान प्रकृति की पूजा की जाती है। सरहुल कई दिनों तक मनाया जाता है, जिसमें मुख्य पारंपरिक नृत्य सरहुल नृत्य किया जाता है।
आदिवासियों का मानना ​​है कि वे इस त्योहार को मनाए जाने के बाद ही नई फसल का उपयोग मुख्य रूप से धान, पेड़ों के पत्ते, फूलों और फलों का उपयोग कर सकते हैं। भूमिज इस पर्व को ‘हादी बोंगा’ के नाम से और संथाल इसे ‘बाहा बोंगा’ के नाम से मनाते हैं। इसे ‘बाः परब’ और ‘खाद्दी परब’ के नाम से भी जाना जाता है।त्योहार के दौरान साल के फूलों, फलों और महुआ के फलों को जायराथान या सरनास्थल पर लाए जाते हैं, जहां पाहान या लाया (पुजारी) और देउरी (सहायक पुजारी) जनजातियों के सभी देवताओं की पूजा करता है। “जायराथान” पवित्र सरना वृक्ष का एक समूह है जहां आदिवासियों को विभिन्न अवसरों में पूजा होती है। यह ग्राम देवता, जंगल, पहाड़ तथा प्रकृति की पूजा है जिसे जनजातियों का संरक्षक माना जाता है। नए फूल तब दिखाई देते हैं जब लोग गाते और नृत्य करते हैं। देवताओं की साल और महुआ फलों और फूलों के साथ पूजा की जाती है।[ आदिवासी भाषाओं में साल (सखुआ) वृक्ष को ‘सारजोम’ कहा जाता है।देवताओं की पूजा करने के बाद, गांव के पुजारी (लाया या पाहान) एक मुर्गी के सिर पर कुछ चावल अनाज डालता है स्थानीय लोगों का मानना ​​है कि यदि मृगी भूमि पर गिरने के बाद चावल के अनाज खाते हैं, तो लोगों के लिए समृद्धि की भविष्यवाणी की जाती है, लेकिन अगर मुर्गी नहीं खाती, तो आपदा समुदाय की प्रतीक्षा कर रहे हैं। इसके अलावा, आने वाले मौसम में पानी में टहनियाँ की एक जोड़ी देखते हुए वर्षा की भविष्यवाणी की जाती है। ये उम्र पुरानी परंपराएं हैं, जो पीढ़ियों से अनमोल समय से नीचे आ रही हैं।

झारखंड में सभी जनजाति इस उत्सव को महान उत्साह और आनन्द के साथ मनाते हैं। जनजातीय पुरुषों, महिलाओं और बच्चों को रंगीन और जातीय परिधानों में तैयार करना और पारंपरिक नृत्य करना। वे स्थानीय रूप में चावल से बनाये गये ‘हांडिया’ पीते हैं। आदिवासी पीसे हुए चावल और पानी का मिश्रण अपने चेहरे पर और सिर पर साल फुल (सारजोम बाहा) लगाते हैं, और फिर जायराथान के आखड़ा में नृत्य करते हैं।
हालांकि एक आदिवासी त्योहार होने के बावजूद, सरहुल भारतीय समाज के किसी विशेष भाग के लिए प्रतिबंधित नहीं है। अन्य विश्वास और समुदाय जैसे हिंदू, मुस्लिम, ईसाई लोग नृत्य करने वाले भीड़ में भाग लेते हैं। सरहुल सामूहिक उत्सव का एक आदर्श उदाहरण प्रस्तुत करता है, जहां हर कोई प्रतिभागी है। आदिवासी मुंडा, भूमिज, कोल, हो और संथाल लोग इस त्योहार को हर्ष और उल्लास के साथ मनाते हैं। गुमला जिला मुख्यालय स्थित लोहरदगा रोड के छात्रावास से एक विशाल सरहुल जुलूस निकाला जाता है, जिसमें सभी नर नारी, बूढ़े बुजुर्ग, युवक – युवतियाँ और नन्हे मुन्ने बच्चे एक साथ ढोल नगाड़े और मंदार की थाप पर नृत्य करते हुए, नगर के मुख्य मार्गो, जैसे लोहरदगा रोड गुमला , मेन रोड गुमला, पालकोट रोड के दो सरना स्थलों सहित जिला मुख्यालय के विभिन्न सारण स्थलों में पूजा अर्चना के बाद, विभिन्न गांवों और क्षेत्र के लोग उक्त सरहुल जुलूस में सम्मिलित हो जाते हैं और सिसई रोड गुमला , टावर चौक ( शहीद चौक ) गुमला के पास पहुंचकर अपने अपने सरनास्थलों और अपने अपने क्षेत्र के सरना स्थलों के लिए प्रस्थान करते हैं, और वहां पहुंच कर सरहुल त्यौहार के अवसर पर रात भर मंदार की थाप पर नित्य गीत कर आनंदित होते हैं l
