सोमवार को गोमिया प्रखंड अंतर्गत कसवागढ़, आईईएल गोमिया स्थित माहिर संस्था संस्था द्वारा अंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस के उपलक्ष्य में एक भव्य समारोह का आयोजन नेहरू हाई विद्यालय के क्रीड़ा मैदान में किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम में माननीय पूर्व विधायक श्रीमती बबीता देवी मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में शामिल हुईं।
कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ उन्होंने दीप प्रज्वलित कर विधिवत किया। इस अवसर पर उपस्थित महिलाओं ने उन्हें पौधा एवं पुष्पगुच्छ भेंट कर आत्मीय एवं भव्य स्वागत किया। समारोह में बड़ी संख्या में महिलाओं की सहभागिता देखने को मिली।
अपने संबोधन में श्रीमती बबीता देवी ने कहा कि महिलाओं का सशक्तिकरण ही समाज के समग्र विकास की आधारशिला है। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य सरकार महिलाओं की आत्मनिर्भरता और सशक्तिकरण के लिए लगातार प्रयासरत है। मुख्यमंत्री मंइयां सम्मान योजना सहित विभिन्न जनकल्याणकारी योजनाओं के माध्यम से महिलाओं को आर्थिक, सामाजिक एवं शैक्षणिक रूप से सशक्त बनाने की दिशा में सार्थक पहल की जा रही है।
उन्होंने विश्वास व्यक्त किया कि सशक्त महिलाएं ही एक मजबूत समाज और समृद्ध राष्ट्र के निर्माण में अहम भूमिका निभाती हैं। कार्यक्रम के अंत में उन्होंने सफल आयोजन के लिए माहेर संस्था के सदस्यों एवं आयोजकों को हार्दिक बधाई एवं शुभकामनाएं दीं।
