गोमिया– अनुमंडल पुलिस पदाधिकारी (एसडीपीओ) वशिष्ठ नारायण सिंह की अध्यक्षता में शनिवार कोट तेनुघाट कार्यालय में मासिक अपराध गोष्ठी का आयोजन किया गया। इस बैठक में अनुमंडल क्षेत्र के सभी पुलिस निरीक्षक, थाना प्रभारी एवं ओपी प्रभारी उपस्थित रहे।
गोष्ठी के दौरान एसडीपीओ सिंह ने बीते माह के कार्यों की समीक्षा करते हुए पुलिस पदाधिकारियों एवं जवानों के कार्यों की सराहना की। उन्होंने कहा कि मार्च माह में विभिन्न त्योहारों के बावजूद क्षेत्र में शांति व्यवस्था बनाए रखना सराहनीय रहा है और बिना किसी अप्रिय घटना के त्योहार संपन्न कराए गए।
उन्होंने बताया कि अनुमंडल क्षेत्र में आपराधिक घटनाओं में कमी आई है, जो पुलिस की सक्रियता का परिणाम है। साथ ही लंबित मामलों के शीघ्र निष्पादन के लिए संबंधित अधिकारियों को आवश्यक निर्देश दिए गए।
एसडीपीओ ने सभी थाना प्रभारियों को अपने-अपने क्षेत्रों में नियमित गश्ती बढ़ाने का निर्देश देते हुए कहा कि कानून-व्यवस्था बनाए रखने में किसी प्रकार की लापरवाही बर्दाश्त नहीं की जाएगी। विशेष रूप से महिला उत्पीड़न से संबंधित मामलों को प्राथमिकता के आधार पर जल्द निष्पादित करने का निर्देश दिया गया।
गोष्ठी में क्षेत्र की सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को और सुदृढ़ बनाने पर भी विस्तार से चर्चा की गई।
