गोमिया- जारंगडीह में आयोजित बाहा बोंगा (सरहुल) महोत्सव हर्षोल्लास एवं पारंपरिक उत्साह के साथ मनाया गया। इस अवसर पर माननीय मंत्री, पेयजल एवं स्वच्छता तथा उत्पाद एवं मद्य निषेध विभाग के आदरणीय श्री योगेंद्र प्रसाद जी के ज्येष्ठ पुत्र एवं झामुमो बोकारो युवा मोर्चा के जिला उपाध्यक्ष श्री बिनय कपूर मुख्य रूप से उपस्थित रहे।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान श्री कपूर ने सरना स्थल पर विधिवत पूजा-अर्चना कर क्षेत्र की सुख, शांति एवं समृद्धि की कामना की। मौके पर उपस्थित स्थानीय ग्रामीणों एवं जनप्रतिनिधियों ने पारंपरिक रीति-रिवाजों के साथ उनका गर्मजोशी से स्वागत किया।
इस अवसर पर अपने संबोधन में श्री कपूर ने कहा कि सरहुल पर्व आदिवासी समाज की समृद्ध सांस्कृतिक धरोहर का प्रतीक है। यह पर्व प्रकृति के प्रति आस्था, सामाजिक एकता एवं आपसी भाईचारे का संदेश देता है। उन्होंने कहा कि हमें अपनी परंपराओं एवं संस्कृति के संरक्षण के साथ-साथ प्रकृति के प्रति अपनी जिम्मेदारियों को भी समझना चाहिए।
महोत्सव में बड़ी संख्या में ग्रामीणों की सहभागिता रही और पूरे क्षेत्र में उत्सव का माहौल बना रहा।
