गोमिया (बोकारो): बोकारो जिले में पुलिस प्रशासनिक फेरबदल के तहत आईईएल थाना को नया प्रभारी मिल गया है। पुलिस अधीक्षक हरविंदर सिंह के निर्देश पर पूर्व थाना प्रभारी प्रफुल्ल कुमार महतो का स्थानांतरण गोमिया थाना कर दिया गया है। उनके स्थान पर श्यामल मंडल को आईईएल थाना प्रभारी की जिम्मेदारी सौंपी गई है।
प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार, श्यामल मंडल ने 12 अप्रैल 2026 (रविवार) को विधिवत रूप से आईईएल थाना का पदभार ग्रहण किया। उन्होंने 14 अप्रैल 2026 (मंगलवार) को जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि इससे पूर्व वे बोकारो सेक्टर-12 थाना में अवर निरीक्षक के पद पर कार्यरत थे।
पदभार संभालने के बाद पत्रकारों से बातचीत में थाना प्रभारी श्यामल मंडल ने कहा कि जनता की शिकायतों का त्वरित निष्पादन उनकी पहली प्राथमिकता होगी। उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया कि क्षेत्र में आपराधिक गतिविधियों पर नियंत्रण स्थापित करना और अमन-शांति बनाए रखना उनका मुख्य उद्देश्य है।
उन्होंने आगे कहा कि पुलिस और जनता के बीच मैत्रीपूर्ण संबंध स्थापित कर क्षेत्र में भयमुक्त वातावरण तैयार किया जाएगा। इसके लिए उन्होंने आम नागरिकों से सहयोग की अपील की। थाना प्रभारी ने यह भी कहा कि थाना क्षेत्र में किसी भी प्रकार के अवैध कार्यों को बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जाएगा। यदि किसी को कोई शिकायत हो तो वे सीधे थाना आकर उनसे संपर्क कर सकते हैं।
इस मौके पर थाना के कई पुलिस पदाधिकारी भी उपस्थित थे।
