गोमिया—– डॉ. भीम राव अंबेडकर जयंती एवं स्वर सम्राज्ञी आशा भोंसले को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की गई। डी ए वी पब्लिक स्कूल तेनुघाट के प्रांगण में संविधान निर्माता डॉ भीम राव अंबेडकर जी की 135वीं जयंती बड़े जोश और उत्साह के साथ मनायी गयी एवं स्वर सम्राज्ञी आशा भोंसले के निधन पर प्राचार्या स्तुति सिन्हा ने शोक सभा का आयोजन किया। जिसमें विद्यालय के समस्त छात्र-छात्राएँ, शिक्षक-शिक्षिकाएँ एवं कर्मचारियों ने दो मिनट का मौन रखते हुए उनकी आत्मा की शांति लिए प्रार्थना करते हुए उनके चित्र पर पुष्प अर्पित कर श्रद्धांजलि दिए।
आज की प्रार्थना सभा डॉ. अंबेडकर एवं स्व. आशा भोंसले जी को समर्पित थी। प्राचार्या स्तुति सिन्हा ने डॉ. बी. आर. अंबेडकर जी चित्र पर पुष्प अर्पित करते हुए दीप प्रज्ज्वलित किया तथा अन्य शिक्षक-शिक्षिकाओं ने श्रद्धा सुमन अर्पित किए। प्राचार्या ने बच्चों को देश में एकता अखंडता, अनुशासन और समानता की भावना बनाए रखने के लिए उनके संविधान निर्माण जैसे उत्कृष्ट कार्य की सराहना करते हुए सभी को संविधान के पालन करने एवं विद्यालय परिसर में व्यवस्थित रूप से पठन-पाठन के लिए अनुशासित रहने की बात कही। इस अवसर पर विनीत सिन्हा एवं अज़मल रेहान कक्षा सातवीं के छात्रों ने भी डॉ. अंबेडकर जी के उल्लेखनीय योगदान पर प्रकाश डालते हुए अंग्रेज़ी एवं हिन्दी भाषाओं में अपने विचार व्यक्त किए। आज का यह कार्यक्रम सी सी ए प्रमुख मो. असगर अली के नेतृत्व में हलधर महतो एवं साक्षी श्रेया के सहयोग से सम्पन्न हुआ ।
तदोपरांत विद्यालय परिसर में साप्ताहिक हवन का आयोजन हुआ जिसमें संस्कृत शिक्षक द्रविण कुमार कर के निर्देशन में कक्षा चौथी के छात्र-छात्राएँ कक्षाध्यापिका साक्षी श्रेया के साथ शामिल हुए।
