गोमिया। पिट्स मॉडर्न स्कूल, गोमिया में 13 अप्रैल 2026 को कक्षा 10वीं एवं 12वीं के विद्यार्थियों के लिए एक ज्ञानवर्धक यातायात जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम का मुख्य उद्देश्य छात्रों को सड़क सुरक्षा, जिम्मेदार ड्राइविंग और यातायात नियमों के प्रति जागरूक बनाना था।
कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ विद्यालय के प्राचार्य द्वारा स्वागत भाषण के साथ किया गया। इस अवसर पर उपस्थित अतिथियों—श्री संतोष मिश्रा, श्री अर्जुन महतो (एएसआई, बोकारो), श्री उपेंद्र राय (एएसआई, आईईएल गोमिया थाना), श्री बिनोद कुमार मुंडा (एएसआई, गोमिया थाना) एवं श्री बबलू मरांडी (कॉन्स्टेबल)—को शाल, पौधा एवं स्मृति चिह्न भेंटकर सम्मानित किया गया।
प्रसिद्ध साइकिल यात्री श्री संतोष मिश्रा ने अपने अनुभव साझा करते हुए बताया कि उन्होंने साइकिल से 600 से अधिक जिलों की यात्रा कर 6 लाख किलोमीटर से अधिक दूरी तय की है। उन्होंने अपने अनुभवों के आधार पर सड़क सुरक्षा और अनुशासन के महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला, जिससे विद्यार्थी काफी प्रेरित हुए।
वहीं, श्री उपेंद्र राय (एएसआई) ने यातायात नियमों के कानूनी पहलुओं की विस्तृत जानकारी दी। उन्होंने नियमों के पालन, उल्लंघन के दुष्परिणाम एवं एक जिम्मेदार नागरिक के कर्तव्यों पर विशेष जोर दिया।
कार्यक्रम में गोमिया विद्यालय प्रबंधन समिति के उपाध्यक्ष श्री अरिंदम दास गुप्ता ने विद्यालय के इस प्रयास की सराहना की। साथ ही आईईपीएल ओरिका, गोमिया के महाप्रबंधक श्री अभिषेक विश्वास ने भी छात्रों को अपने दैनिक जीवन में सड़क सुरक्षा नियमों का पालन करने के लिए प्रेरित किया।
इस कार्यक्रम को सफल बनाने में शिक्षिका श्रीमती वंदना ठाकुर तथा शिक्षक श्री गंगाधर यादव एवं श्री श्याम भूषण श्रीवास्तव की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका रही।
समापन में यह कार्यक्रम अत्यंत प्रभावशाली एवं ज्ञानवर्धक साबित हुआ, जिससे विद्यार्थियों में यातायात नियमों के प्रति जागरूकता और जिम्मेदारी की भावना और अधिक सुदृढ़ हुई।
