नोएडा–गुरुग्राम सहित उत्तर भारत में मजदूरों पर पुलिसिया कार्रवाई निंदनीय: सीटू

उत्तर भारत के नोएडा, गुरुग्राम, मानेसर सहित विभिन्न औद्योगिक क्षेत्रों में मजदूरों पर हो रही कथित पुलिसिया कार्रवाई और गिरफ्तारियों के विरोध में सेंटर ऑफ इंडियन ट्रेड यूनियन (सीटू) द्वारा देशव्यापी आह्वान के तहत आईईएल गोमिया स्थित सीटू कार्यालय में प्रेस विज्ञप्ति जारी की गई।
इस अवसर पर सीटू के प्रदेश उपाध्यक्ष रामचंद्र ठाकुर एवं राज्य कमेटी सदस्य राकेश कुमार ने कहा कि उत्तर प्रदेश, दिल्ली और हरियाणा के विभिन्न औद्योगिक क्षेत्रों में मजदूर कम वेतन और ठेका प्रथा के खिलाफ संघर्ष कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि इन आंदोलनों को दबाने के लिए पुलिस द्वारा लाठीचार्ज किया जा रहा है तथा आंदोलन का नेतृत्व कर रहे मजदूर नेताओं समेत कई श्रमिकों को गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेजा जा रहा है।
उन्होंने कहा कि इन क्षेत्रों में मजदूरों को मात्र 10 हजार से 13 हजार रुपये तक वेतन दिया जा रहा है, जबकि उनसे 12 घंटे तक काम लिया जाता है। ओवरटाइम का भुगतान नहीं किया जाता और न ही बोनस की कोई व्यवस्था है। ऐसे में मजदूरों को लगभग 333 रुपये प्रतिदिन की दर से काम करने को मजबूर होना पड़ रहा है।
सीटू नेताओं ने कहा कि यह केवल औद्योगिक विवाद नहीं, बल्कि मजदूरों के अधिकारों को दबाने और कॉरपोरेट हितों को बढ़ावा देने की साजिश है। उन्होंने इस पूरे घटनाक्रम की कड़ी निंदा करते हुए इसे श्रमिक विरोधी कदम बताया।
सीटू ने सरकार से मांग की है कि मजदूरों पर हो रही दमनात्मक कार्रवाई और गिरफ्तारियों पर तत्काल रोक लगाई जाए। साथ ही न्यूनतम मजदूरी 26 हजार रुपये प्रति माह सुनिश्चित करने तथा 8 घंटे कार्य दिवस लागू करने की गारंटी दी जाए।
प्रेस विज्ञप्ति के दौरान सीटू के जिला कमेटी सदस्य शंकर पासवान, अजय कुमार नायक एवं धनंजय कुमार सहित अन्य कार्यकर्ता उपस्थित थे।
